  2. Where did you read that? I've heard the exact opposite. And wouldn't this still be early to see how he's responding?

  4. An ounce a day? Don't you mean a lid? is this pedro de pacas? no one calls it a lid anymore No one's consuming that amount every day either ;) Not even Snoop Dogg :smoke: :smoke:
  5. True, but if the folks in front of me are standing, and if I were to sit and couldn't see Rush, wouldn't I choose to stand? Not suggesting you shouldn't stand...your 2 options in that situation would be to stand yourself or ask the folks in front of you to sit. Personally, I'll always take option A. The problem could occur, though, when the people behind want to sit and decide to be less professional about the situation. IMO...people should expect that people stand at concerts and plan accordingly. Unless you're going to see Itzak Perlman or something, it should be the norm.

  7. I was pretty much the same in terms of losing interest around Lullabies...but Like Clockwork brought me back in a i way. My favorite album of 2013.
  8. Shouldn't we be more concerned with what the people BEHIND us are doing instead of in front? Who cares if the people in front of you are sitting if the folks behind are standing and you won't interfere with anyone's enjoyment?
  9. I've got all the reissues so far and have none of those problems. One had a tear in the sleeve, which I exchanged, no problem. Otherwise no warps, surface noise, pops, clicks, etc.

  11. Oh, you said "a" highpoint instead of "the." I was ready to ask if better than, Jacobs, Cygnus, Xanadu, Presentation, et al ;) Different kind of highpoint, but yeah - when the curtain came up on second set and I saw Alex's wall of speakers...Geddy's wall of speakers...Neil on the replica kit...it was super exciting. Also, consider that my reference was Tulsa. No one knew exactly what was about to happen apart from band and crew.
  12. Obviously someone is messing with the seller.
  13. Yes. My Choice is how I learned that my package shipped. If you' signed up,they should notify you.
  14. David Bowie Velvet Underground Parliament Funkadelic Grateful Dead Prince
  15. It just seems odd the Rush's stage designers would have things different to the point that they interfered with the show in outdoor venues. Makes no sense to me and I really hope it had to do strictly with the venue. Was the actual structure not built to hold the correct amount of weight? Was there a curtain that could not be removed? Gotta be something. Oh...it was also a different, larger screen in Tulsa. They had the same back screens, but with the additional one in front. Edit: weren't they expecting storms that day?? Maybe that has something to do with it..
  16. The intro vid was on the same screen. It ends with the band in silhouette and when the curtain rose, they were all in the appropriate positions, right behind their shadows. Having that happen behind them completely destroys that effect.
  17. Wow. I wonder if that was just Austin or all outdoor venues. I'll be in DC, which I believe is a shed, so I guess I'll see for myself. How anti-climactic, though. When the curtain/screen came up in Tulsa, it was so exciting. A highpoint of the evening for sure/
  18. Except for his remark on Neurotica. That was spot on, I think. what did he say? Geddy: Just recently I listened to the song Neurotica [from 1991’s Roll The Bones) and I thought, what the f**k was that? It’s just a strange tune. I feel we’ve had a very up-and-down career as songwriters, but one thing that’s always held true is our honesty about what we’re doing. Like it or not, this is what we are [laughs].
  19. Why would this be different? They can hang the screen in front of the stage just as easily as behind.
  20. Here's the thing...as of now, it's got 27 bids which means it didn't start there. No idea what the starting bid was, but someone out there really, really wants this pick.
  21. Screen down (not up ;) ). Second set starts with the film then the screen rises to reveal the new stage setup.
  22. A lot of that occurs once it's cut. The pure grade stuff isn't like that at all. And it can last a good amount of time. when I win the lottery I'll seek out some "pure grade" :dweez: :D-13: You're down in Atlanta, right? Just take a trip to Miami...that's where it all comes from :P
