Bob Newhart has died

I really liked him and his style of comedy but he was 94. RIP.

RIP to a true comedic genius, who will likely always be responsible for the best show finale of all time.

 

He was also a huge Cubs fan who I'm glad got to see them win one before he died.

Bob Newhart was funny right up until the end. I saw him do a show with Conan a few years ago, and he was still sharp and funny as ever, even into his 90s. RIP

This is one of those "he was still with us?" moments, and now I'm sad. Loved the deadpan humor; the one-sided phone call bit is still hilarious.
