BastillePark Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 I really liked him and his style of comedy but he was 94. RIP.
zepphead Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 A very funny man with a long and distinguished career. RIP Bob. 2
laughedatbytime Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 RIP to a true comedic genius, who will likely always be responsible for the best show finale of all time. He was also a huge Cubs fan who I'm glad got to see them win one before he died. 2
KenJennings Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 Bob Newhart was funny right up until the end. I saw him do a show with Conan a few years ago, and he was still sharp and funny as ever, even into his 90s. RIP 2
Nova Carmina Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 This is one of those "he was still with us?" moments, and now I'm sad. Loved the deadpan humor; the one-sided phone call bit is still hilarious. RIP, and thanks for the laughs. 2
Rushman14 Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 Damn. I once went to a live taping of his show. RIP 1
treeduck Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 Incidentally this has ended the six month drought on deathlist.net. They finally got someone.
