Considering how popular it is, no way it’s underrated. It’s top 3 for me. Close on the heels of CTTE and TYA.

I have the original Atlantic 45 from 1972. 

A side Roundabout 

B side Long Distance Runaround 

 

IMO ... Great musicians, but to me, they  became Pretentious.

 

That being said, there are many many bands worse than YES.

I dumped my nachos on it.

 

It's a good  album. Top three. It's the first Yes album I ever listened to in high school. It took me a while to get used to their earlier stuff.

This one was my gateway into Yes, and I'm one of those who believes you can't forget your first, so 90125 is probably my favorite Yes album at an emotional level, even though I recognize that some of the early '70s stuff was better.

 

"Owner of Lonely Heart" gets me every time, and I've still got "It Can Happen" and "Leave It" in my library.

 

My only objection to this poll is there aren't enough choices, and the narrative feels incomplete. Too many Trevors.

I find that 90125, the first Asia album, and GTR work well together in a playlist.

I love this album.  took me a while to come around too it.  I think it's the most succesful in being pop but also remaining very prog and very interesting musically.

 

Also i think this stomps Asia's debut.  the band that actually had Steve Howe in it, lol

 

top 5 yes album for me

I don't dislike it - not up there with some of the 'classic' albums which preceded it, but certainly better than a lot of the ones that followed!

I was like Ozzy and Nova with this album, it was the first YES I got into, and then I gradually worked my way through all the other stuff.

I love every Yes album up to and including Drama. This is for me...a horrible sounding album.

Oh God you're mad! I think it's because when you heard City of Love it scared you, it reminded you of the theme to Jaws!

treeduck...he claims to be metal all the time.  But he's faking cause this is the most metal album ever and he can't handle it.  it's above his understanding.

Damn I forgot all about Genesis! I think Jethro Tull and Pink Floyd are the only 80s prog that don't really land for me.

Imo Rush put out their best albums in the 80's starting with "Permanent Waves".
