Collaborations you wish would happen / would have happened.

Recommended Posts

What are some collaborations you wish would happen, or would have happened in case they can't anymore?

I'll start:

Peter Gabriel and David Bowie, circa 1980.

Dio and Sammy Hagar the duet series!

Whether or not you're joking, that would be epic I think.

Lou Reed and Megadeth

I would love to see / hear Joan Jett & Ace Frehley collaborate on a new version of Ace’s solo KISS album.

There is a certain punk spirit to that album.

Also Ace’s vocal style would blend well with Joan’s style on these songs.

Chris Cornell and Jeff Buckley

I was thinking Chris Cornell and.... I couldn`t think who to pair his magnificent voice with. I was leaning towards Jimmy Page in his prime.

Buckley might be the perfect choice. It would help bring out Chris' weird side, plus Chris would help Buckley go a little bigger.

Chris wrote Wave Goodbye on his debut solo album as a tribute to him.

I wish Lacuna Coil and Paradise Lost could have collaborated around 2014, when they toured together. I'd love to have Nick Holmes and Cristina Scabbia singing together, live or in studio
