RushFanForever Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 (edited) This is my favourite Jeopardy episode via Cheers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=botdmsQilnU Edited November 9, 2020 by RushFanForever 5
blueschica Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 RIP, Alex. I can't imagine Jeopardy without him. :( Someone in our extended family was on Jeopardy years ago and we went to watch. We got to meet Alex and he was a very nice guy and class act. He offered to take a photo with me but it was before selfies and I couldn't imagine what I would do with it, so I didnt. I regret that a bit now. I hope his family is doing ok. 5
Derek19 Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 (edited) I've been sorry, to hear, see, and read this. I watched Jeopardy, but I'm not a regular, and daily watcher of it, and my parents are more of it. I don't know what it will be like, now. He will be missed. My condolences, to his family, and friends. R.I.P., Alex. Edited November 9, 2020 by Derek19 1
JohnnyBlaze Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 Having watched it from age 11, Jeopardy’s easily my favorite game show of all time. So many interesting and cool tidbits which led me to read up on various topics. The game format style itself I’ve used countless times in lesson activities for several years now. As a matter of fact, I have an activity planned for tomorrow which incorporates the Jeopardy format. Thank you, Alex Trebek. RIP 3
Laurabw Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 So sad. My dad loves Jeopardy. I do too. I can’t imagine it without Alex. not like this was a surprise but I thought he was doing ok. 3
Leanne Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 Poor Alex, he will be greatly missed. I'm watching a 20/20 special about him right now and when Jeopardy comes back on, it will be strange not seeing him on there. RIP. :( 3

RIP. :(Apparently, they taped enough shows that he will be seen on new episodes through Christmas. Which will be strange in its own way. I hope I'll be able to cherish every one o f them, but Im not sure how I'll react. 2
Lorraine Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 I remember the original man who did Jeopardy (in fact, I'm so old I remember when Jeopardy first came on the air), still ... it's sad to hear about Alex. He did it for so long.
RUSHHEAD666 Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 He's a great man. I love the guy. So quick story that made our paper years ago. Alex and his wife were staying in a posh hotel in San Francisco. They went out for dinner. When they got back to the room the door was ajar. There were two dudes walking fast down the hall. They entered the roomHis wife's jewelry was stolen. Alex instantly sprinted down the hallway. The two idiots were waiting for the elevator.Alex tackled them both with force. The cops came and arrested those scumbag pieces of shit. Alex saved the day and his wife's jewelry. He's a bad ass intellect. He will be missed. 37 seasons. Another Legend is gone. 3
