This is probably the hardest album to pick from.

Obviously 'Stairway' is top of polls everywhere (Zeppelin and non-Zeppelin) so I am going to avoid it.

'Rock and Roll' is another fan favourite but to be honest i have played it to death.

'Black Dog' and Going To California' are also fabulous songs.

I am choosing 'When The Levee Breaks' as an example of something Zeppelin were masters of ... taking

and old blues standard and elevating it to new heights. Monstrous drumming on it!

Honourable mention to 'Battle of Evermore' featuring the wonderful tones of Sandy Denny as guest co-vocalist.

From Led Zeppelin's IV, the song I like best, and my favorite is "Stairway to Heaven".

Four Sticks.

I'm my top 2 Zep songs.

It's got it all, including a synthesizer by JPJ and two sets of drum sticks. KInda dark, but I like it.

And when the owls cry in the night

And baby when the pines begin to cry

Oh baby, baby, how do you feel?

If the river runs dry, baby, how do you feel?

Hey hey mama! I picked Black Dog! The way they crash into the opening riff is just an awesome experience. :ebert:

I'm really with Johnny Blaze, though; every song is a winner in my book. It's such a wonderful, wonderful album. Stairway to Heaven maybe a bit less than the others, only because I am the age where I heard it one hundred million times growing up (plus it was a dance theme, prom theme, yearbook theme etc etc etc) and it's just a bit overplayed for me.
