For a long time, I thought the name of the singer behind that one 1987 hit, Mary’s Prayer, was Danny Wilson. Turns out they’re the band. IIRC, it was the number one song of the entire year on the top 100 of 1979 chart. Not surprising how rich the band is just from that song’s royalties alone.
