A Sabbath staple vs. Cream?

N.I.B. is heavily influenced by Cream.

It is but Iommi takes it to places Clapton didn't think of. Sabbath for the victory.

True that he does, though I prefer Sunshine all the same. Plenty of respect to NIB, but Sunshine was one of the first classic rock songs I became familiar with, and I had a bit of an epiphany when I first learned the blues scale discovering the riff to Sunshine was based entirely off of it, so now I could play it!

Hell yes! No comparison. Eric Clapton was great on heroin. Sober and solo? He sucks. JMO Boring blues player.

Give me "Eyesight For The Blind" in the "Tommy" movie. Clapton used to shred. Now he is just a shedding tear.

SABBATH BLOODY SABBATH!

Cream for me

( mostly for nostalgic reasons )

in the mid 90s to early 2000s

I played in a 60/70s classic rock ( as we now label it ) covers pub/bar and we played this as well as

‘ White Room ‘
