Jeff Buckley- Grace

GREAT call

love that record.

Mick

Wow, I actually didn't see Segue mention Grace. I was under the impression I was the only one who mentioned it so far, haha. It's really an incredible album but I don't listen to it as often as you'd think.

Once you claim to have more than 5 perfect albums you are really devaluing the concept of perfect.

I don't believe any album is 100% perfect but of course that's a matter of taste. For the kind of thing I'd rather rate albums out of 100.

The elite would have a rating between 91 and 99.

Something like Miles Davis' Kind of Blue rates a 10/10. Maybe five per decade.

McCartney - Bowl of cherries album

I love McCartney's work, and while I agree this album has a 10/10 song on it (Maybe I'm Amazed), I actually think it's a pretty mediocre album.

It's a fun listen with half ideas and unfinished songs. It could have been great with some input from certain individuals!

Anyway, isn't the point of the thread about personal 10/10 albums?

Yep. And Kind of Blue is definitely one of my picks.

I love McCartney album and the simplicity of the songs, which Paul wrote, sang and played all the instruments ( except a few vocals from Linda ).

It is, but the point of the forum is to share opinions. I never understand people's hypersensitivity to someone saying, "I don't agree with that." Custom's opinion is it's a 10/10. I told him I disagree, and he responded why he thinks so.

I am all for discussing and sharing opinions. Believe me, I'm not hypersensitive to any disagreements. Share away!

I guess my closest to perfect album would be Hand.Cannot.Erase.

That's one I was gonna name.

Really? It's that good?

Yes, it is. I think it's his best album so far although Raven is just as good. As much as I love all the PT material, I think these two solo albums are exquisite.
