JohnRogers
I have been a closeted Duran x2 fan for thirty plus years. My concert tees were festooned with Eddie but secretly at home I felt The Reflex. I briefly had John Taylor's hairdo but blamed my hairdresser. http://youtu.be/oDnNF5cHCdo http://youtu.be/oOg5VxrRTi0 http://youtu.be/e3W6yf6c-FA
Permanent-Rush
I love Duran Duran and Metal music!! Got to see them live and it was nice!! The opening acts ruined it though.
Verena
I simply adore Duran Duran and have no problem with the band. Neither with what people say about, JohnRogers. I checked their last album, btw. It's kinda great! Edited October 11, 2016 by rhyv
JohnnyBlaze
Mister Rogers, you're too old to care what others think of your music choices :hail:
Slim
I like some of their stuff. They went off quite quickly after Rio and I can't stand Hungry Like The Wolf, New Moon on Monday or any of that nonsense. But after their popularity had waned they did some terrific stuff, like this: Edited October 11, 2016 by Slim

J2112YYZ
With a different musical arrangement, Hungry Like The Wolf would make a good metal tune.

treeduck
No but you're allowed to like the spin-off band Power Station featuring both of the Taylors, because that band kicked a lot more ass than Duran Duran, plus they had Robert Palmer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHH_Cc6IifM

It still has Duran Duran style. Kick ass though. I watched a Duran Duran DVD from their concert in 2005, I think. It was great! I appreciate the Wedding Album and Medazzaland. Paper Gods: what first caught my impression was the idea of drawing the cover or part of it on Deluxe Edition. They still are good after so many years. Rutlefan
Never been a fan (thought Girls on Film was cool though) but it never occurred to me that other people shouldn't like them. Did bug me when A View to a Kill got voted best Bond theme in some poll, but if I'm going to worry about why most of the rest of humanity can't see things as clearly as I ( ;)), I've got more important places to start than Bond themes. For the record though, it's a toss up between Live and Let Die and Nobody Does It Better.

Easily the most kickass Bond theme.
