I like them! I keep meaning to deep dive their discography. I adore what I've heard and have a great appreciation for their album artwork.

I thought you liked them. I haven't mentioned them on here since their last album so I couldn't remember for sure if you did or not.

Dan Fogelberg

XTC

Two very different sounds.

To me.....Dan is one of the best and most underrated singers of the 70's His ability to just craft ear candy and layer it ariound his smooth 70's pop voice is pretty unmatched Sure he was pretty know in the 70's but time has erased him.  Us fans do keep his art alive though.

and XTC one of the best art pop bands ever. definitely took from the beatles In their later periods a bit but at the same time making their sound uniquely XTC.

I have you to thank for Dan. He is in my top three now with Taylor and Bruce. He's booted Mariah out the convo.

Taylor Swift, Pearl Jam and In Flames.

I had great fun with Godsmack, but as I expected, the novelty wore off. Still, a very good band that deserves their fanbase.

It's still the debut that sold me. I love that album and the two after it so damn much. I see them as a trilogy, and in all honesty I can't fault any of them, he just improved each time. Everything up to WaW is classic to me.

One of the most innovative and fresh-sounding albums I’ve heard in a while

Posted

Paul Mccartney.

I love when i've heard folk say The Beatles were the sum of their parts.,  True but paul's still my fav.  and I LOVE his solo career.

And starting in like 2005 he's solo run has been pretty stunning.

Dan Fogelberg

Sptingsteen.

with both artists is essentially one album though.  and both are ones in their cannon that i neber really paid attention tooo.

For Dan it's Exiles.  A real Pop affair but some killer tunes.

The Title track

Lonely In Love (one of his best singles IMO)

Seeing You Again

She Don't Look Back

Hearts In Decline

Our Last Farewell

All top rate Dan in my book.

As for bruce. BITUSA was one of those albums that were just there.  had the Casette as a kid with the stupid as fukk butt shot, lol

the whole damn album was basically played on the radio.  so again i never payed much mind.  but in the last month it's clicked and i can't stop,, lol  it's become one of my favs.

Keep Flying. They’re a small pop punk band with members from New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Despite their horn section, they’re more straightforward pop punk than they are ska. I saw them live for the third time on Friday, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. They’re all super nice guys, and their shows are super fun. They played a good mix of new and old songs, plus a cover of the 90s X-Men theme. I also bought this shirt.

Fiona Apple. Specifically her first two albums. How did I miss this?? She's a freaking genius. I've never heard anything like it and I cannot stop listening to her.

Symphony X, thanks to Michael Romeo. His guitar riffs are so insane and all over the place yet manage to remain coherent, makes me feel like I'm on crack.

I belong to a music group page on Facebook and somebody posted a song by this band and I was a huge fan back in the 90s and that band is Faith No More!

Back in the day, I had the CD 'The Real Thing' and I wore it out. Also had Angel Dust and that was a great as well. Another song I always liked was Last Cup of Sorrow. I saw they released an album in 2015, might have to check that out!

Sarah MacLachlan, God help me. Not a fan of the musical style, but what a voice.

Oh really? I'm happy to revisit later era REM. Didn't go down so well with me when I was younger, but hey! I once rated Monster dead last.
