Rhapsody

Yeah, they are not for everyone. But Rhapsody work for me. A spectacular band, and in my opinion rivalled only by Blind Guardian.

These two bands really took over for me when Nightwish let me down.

Lately.

AC/DC and Bon Jovi.

Tried ZZ top but to no avail.  i do actually enjoy the commercial period more than the 70's classic era......i know sinner, lol.

but i'll just stick to those.  it's like 2 albums but it's something.

Grunge era bands.

Particulary Alice In Chains and Soundgarden.

I was a kid at it's height.  and was a clasic Rock boy.  but wish i'd payed more attention to these bands in the moment.

it really was a boom period for rock the early 90's.

I was in my early to mid-20s.  I was just talking to my wife about the fact that it was the last time that I fell in love with a bunch of new bands.  She suggested that was because it was the last time there were a large number of great new bands.  I assured her it was because it was just the last time we were young.

Any of the first 6 plus the dio era. that's a great band in just those albums.

Definitely. Like I said before, I might not have a particular fascination or personal connection to them but great music is great music.

Your problem with Accept probably was that they were responsible for the song Balls To The Wall. Why anyone would have interest in them after hearing that I will never know 😄

Probably because it doesn't take a lot of effort to venture beyond one song.

But why would you want to put in the effort after hearing that song?

The lemon twigs. Their new record is great. A dream is all I know

A little too sappy in a few spots but I love the retro pop goodness. I made a thread about these guys a few years ago. Not the type of music I usually listen to but I'm hooked.

I saw these guys a few months ago and they were great. The brothers and the rest of their band rotated around instruments throughout the show effortlessly. I'll check out the new one on the hopes that it's at least half as good as Everything Harmony.

Cool. I have seen some live videos and they seem great live. Super impressive. Multi instrumental, great song writers and producers at such a young age.

Unefffing believable imo.

In my head and these words are two of my favorites. I rarely see shows but they are coming to town early November.

They're super cheap. I think I only paid $20 to see them in Buffalo last November

Are you a fan of Witherfall? They have a new album out. A bit of a Iced Earth/Nevermore feel to them.

I like them! I keep meaning to deep dive their discography. I adore what I've heard and have a great appreciation for their album artwork.
