dtpoet
Earlier today - Tony R was quoted as saying -" Losing It, Territories, and Jacobs Ladder on the set list." Alchemical
I would really love it if they squeezed Jacob's Ladder in as the show closer...doubt it though. The strings packed up and left. :/
Tarkus406
There's probably one more song left..who wants to bet it's Freewill or Closer to the Heart?
briremo
QUOTE (The Owl @ Sep 7 2012, 09:37 PM) Not complaining about the setlist....but Touring with a string section and not playing "Losing It" = BIGGEST MISSED OPPORTUNITY EVER!
USB Connector
QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Sep 7 2012, 10:37 PM) QUOTE (Alchemical @ Sep 7 2012, 10:33 PM) Eww Working Man. I was sure they would drop it...guess not. Looks like Losing It and Jacob's Ladder didn't make the cut after all unless a miracle happens. Is there even time for 2112, TS, TSoR? Do they HAVE to play 2112? I don't think they do. Jacob's Ladder Spirit Of Radio Tom Sawyer Why not, right? I feel that Tom Sawyer is so much worn out than 2112. I know they've played 2112 so much more but I feel that considering how much synth was present in the first set 2112 would balance it out.

Cygnus The God Of Balance
TSOR....that should probably be it. They opened the TM tour with that....now they close the CA tour with it.
kevind2112
The whole show for me was killer, until Red Sector A. What an odd choice for so close to the end of the show. Then, YYZ (sick of it), Working Man (sick of it), Tom Sawyer (sick of it) then Spirit of Radio (Sick of it). My opinion only! Just a huge let down for me to end the show that way after so many highs. driventotheedge
QUOTE (ReRushed @ Sep 7 2012, 07:42 PM) There's not a set-list this band can come up with that some Rush fan would complain about. Too many good songs. Too many fans liking too many different songs. All in all, Rush does it as right as it can be done. Good post man.

Shreddy Lee
Can someone explain to me how and why Jacob's Ladder became the holy grail for so many people to have on the setlist? I mean, I think it's a fine song, but why so much focus on it? Even since last tour, and probably before?
SchemingDemon
I have to leave for work in five minutes, hopefully there isn't a last song I'll miss out on. I'm certainly not unhappy about all the 80s material, but they should have strayed a little more than that. Oh well, I'm still really going to enjoy the show
