  1. Really Jacked for those first 20 songs. Give it a B+ Final 5? ugh D- Jacob's Ladder is the quintesential Rush song which has such tremendous build up into a lengthy instrumental part. My all time favorite tune is left out again. Don't have the brain left to remember it in 1982 during the New World Man tour. Signals was in fact the first Rush LP I ever bought and one of the first LPs I ever had. The sound was astonishing and tucked in there was this gem called "Losing It" which I thought was a poetic masterpiece about aging. I was only 14 at the time, but now at 45 I really appreciate it in a melancholy way. It is a gorgeous song to me for those reasons and the tension of the violin giving way to the guitar is phenominal. There is no song remotely like it anywhere. Along with others I thought this would have been a perfect opportunity for Xanadu as well with the complete intro. Wanted to hear more from Signals like Chemistry, The Weapon, Losing It and/or Countdown.
  2. I don't know who "Tony R" is but he might as well go to the FBI right now and enter the witness protection program...

  4. QUOTE (kevind2112 @ Sep 7 2012, 09:44 PM) The whole show for me was killer, until Red Sector A. What an odd choice for so close to the end of the show. Then, YYZ (sick of it), Working Man (sick of it), Tom Sawyer (sick of it) then Spirit of Radio (Sick of it). My opinion only! Just a huge let down for me to end the show that way after so many highs. Approval on every point.
  5. I would have lost a lot of money predicting a set list folks...
  6. This is a long long set. Doesn't Neil turn 60 in a few days? Somebody forgot to tell him!
  7. I just signed up here tonight because RIAB broke down. How many trolls post here? I see 2 or 3 already.
  8. QUOTE (dethroned emperor @ Sep 7 2012, 08:23 PM) they skip the best song from ca(bu2b)but play the worst(anarchist)figures BU2B is my 2nd least favorite song on the record. The Anarchist is excellent.
  9. Wow, this bringing memories to the HYF tour which I was lucky to see in Pensacola, Florida! Great great song list!!! Not because they are my favorites but because this is ALL fresh new stuff!!! Have to give an A- so far. BTW, Bravado is infinitely better live than on the studio album - Listen to Different Stages if you doubt it.
