If Rush announced a farewell tour...and you could only see them perform ONCE during the tour, but you could actually see them as they WERE during one of these decades, which would it be?

I'd love to see them in the 70s, but if I had a Time Machine I'd take in one night of the 80s and one night of the 90s. I don't think that makes a lot of sense, but I get what I mean.

I would choose the 50's. I hear that Neil played a mean rattle.

70s, especially if we include PeW in that category, as the band does. That is the most unrepresented decade concerning live performances. Geddy's voice wouldn't perform as well on this tour compared to any other decade, but I wouldn't care.

The 70s.

Hemispheres would be the tour I would want to see 1022.gif

I voted 2000s (does 2010s count?) - then they could play all of their material. I wouldn't miss a thing. If I had a time machine and could see a show in the 70s, I would. But because of the depth of their catalog, I'd want to see them today.

Good question.

Easily the 70s. Like many others here, I've seen them in all the other decades but that one.

This is what I would have said.
