Khan
If Rush announced a farewell tour...and you could only see them perform ONCE during the tour, but you could actually see them as they WERE during one of these decades, which would it be? JohnnyBlaze
Easily the 70s. Like many others here, I've seen them in all the other decades but that one.
gudbuytjane
If I had a time machine I'd go see them on the Permanent Waves tour. -Jane
Babycat
I'd love to see them in the 70s, but if I had a Time Machine I'd take in one night of the 80s and one night of the 90s. I don't think that makes a lot of sense, but I get what I mean.
Lost In Xanadu
I would choose the 50's. I hear that Neil played a mean rattle.

LedRush
70s, especially if we include PeW in that category, as the band does. That is the most unrepresented decade concerning live performances. Geddy's voice wouldn't perform as well on this tour compared to any other decade, but I wouldn't care.
Animate
Do not have to think about this one at all- 70's. 2112 or before.

NinjaDiscoPunch
The 70's. I'd love to hear , Fly By Night, and Caress of Steel in their entirety! But it's okay, they won't be announcing a farewell tour until long after their 144th anniversary.
Bastille Dave
QUOTE (J2112YYZ @ Aug 16 2012, 11:08 AM) The 70s. Hemispheres would be the tour I would want to see absolutely. On this tour they played all of Hemispheres, most of AFTK, and the 2112 epic.
OGr8imL84AD8inF8sBlackSedan
I'd have to say Hemispheres Tour.
default236
Counterparts Tour followed very closely by the Tour Of The Hemispheres.
New World Kid
2000s. Longer Shows. More available material. Better stage lighting/effects.
CygnusGal
I voted 2000s (does 2010s count?) - then they could play all of their material. I wouldn't miss a thing. If I had a time machine and could see a show in the 70s, I would. But because of the depth of their catalog, I'd want to see them today. Good question. ShlappinDahBass
Gah, it's so hard to choose from, they're all so good (with the exception of 90's...Counterparts is really my only "lovable one"). Very good question, my friend. I choose 70's...Can't diss on Fly By Night through Hemispheres.

Tommy Sawyer
My top 3 tours would be... Test for Echo Counterparts Hemispheres (not in that order) So I voted for the 90s.
