The Laundromat, on Netflix. Not as funny as it tried to be, but funny enough.

Cosplay documentary on Amazon. It's set out of Quebec and Japan, and gives insight into how intricate the costumes have become. Pretty amazing, if a little weird.

Abominable

I’m visiting my half sister and brother in law in snowy Utah so we went to a dollar theater for a movie my niece and nephew could see. Not a movie I’d rush to see but it’s got a decent story and not just there to entertain kids like that infamous Oogieloves bomb from years ago.

And it’s a way better yeti movie than that awful Meat Loaf movie I saw on Rifftrax a few years ago.

Brightburn.

Nothing bad...but nothing great either. I felt like there wasn’t much drama there even though the moments were set up to be tense. It’s like watching Superman pit himself up against a group of bank robbers. We know what’s going to happen given his abilities and theirs.
