Did you like this? I watched it a couple of weeks ago and thought it was pretty good. The ending was a little bit of a let down though.

This film reminds me of the Charles Bronson film from 1980 Borderline which was the film debut of Ed Harris who stole that film. It's nowhere near that quality though and is much more action orientated. Some good fight scenes but a predictable plot.

A Van Damme prison flick? Not bad.

I forgot to mention former Giants defensive great Lawrence Taylor played a menacing but philosophical convict. I dunno what he was doing in a Russian prison but there you go...

Just watched Being There with Peter Sellers. Really really good movie. Lots of great scenes. Interesting take on "thus spake zarathrustra". That was nuts. I can see how the film influenced Forrest Gump. Lots of good performances

Love that film .

As much as Sellers was great in the Panthers this film was his finest for me .

And the Van Damme run continues...

This comedy thriller set in Hong Kong has kind of a 60's spy caper feel to it, but the story is very weak and the action completely takes over the film in the second half which I found made my attention slip. And it's the kind of film that if you get even a tiny bit distracted you find it hard to get your interest back on the film. That's what happened to me anyway.

When they make some of these action films, they concentrate so much on the action that they forget that even an action film needs a script too, not just a silly idea for a plot with a few one liners in lieu of dialogue. The woman co-star was hot though and pretty feisty, but Van Damme just looked bored.

All in all not the best couple of Van Damme flicks

Good for you :) Hope you enjoyed it.

Yes, I did! :)

I remembered that as a kid Marshmallow Man used to scare me... it was something to do with his giant smiley face as he wreaked havoc through the city. Creeped me out!

Gonna watch this flick before I go to bed. "Man In The Wilderness". I love this movie!! It's based on a true story but who knows what really went on through out the journey. It stars Richard Harris who plays the perfect part. When I am sick of whats on cable I watch movies like this.

One of the best movies that I have ever seen in my life. I was truly riveted to the chair and actually got sweaty palms, etc. This movie was INTENSE.

Snow White and the Huntsman

Very impressed! Had its flaws, but overall a great movie with astonishing set design, costume and special effects that were, well, special!

Really Good!

Was curious to know if this crossed your mind. Was Chance the son of the "old man"? And what of the ending? Walking on water?
