Jackass

Nitro Circus: The Movie. - This is like Jackass except the stunts involve vehicles, and there is a potential for serious injury when they fail. Which they do. And it's awesome.

This one held a lot of promise. Eerie atmosphere like Shining? Check. Sinister house in the mountains (never mind is CGI and Ikea-furnitured)? Check. Father with a personality disorder that actually SEES his other personality (played by another actor)? Why, that's quite interesting! Unfortunately the plot is a complete mess. Nice photography, good setting but after 40 minutes you're shouting "Make something happen, dammit!!!" at the tv.

Lead actress Kan Quingzi (below) is hot anyway.

"Ask not what your rest home can do for you. Ask what you can do for your rest home."

Love that movie! I'm going to have to watch it again soon, myself.

I enjoyed this one, too. Probably a bit more light hearted than the first two (except for a bit in the middle), but it was good fun.

Love all but the 4th one. Liked the 4th when I saw it in theaters but I was 17 years old that Summer so I didn't know any better then. That ice rink scene with Joe Pesci is hilarious when he thinks he's dying. :rfl:

Yeah, there's a lot of funny moments...I loved the part where they're trying to defuse the bomb

Watching the 4th tonight, so we'll see what I make of it.

There's a lot of funny dialogue in that film, but I think my favourite bit is when he's having the fight with the "big bitch bug", it reminds me of the Evil Dead films...

Friends through eternity,

Loyalty, honesty,

We'll stay together,

Through thick or thin.

Friends forever,

We'll be together,

We're on top,

Cause we play to win.

This one is almost as funny as the Airplane series that parodied it. Especially when the "pilot" turns out to be a dummy pulled up by a string when the planes collide.

Not good, just daft. Halle Berry looks hot but Clive Owen looks like he wishes he was back in Chancer.

Yeah, not as good as the others, but the banter between Gibson and Glover still made it a fun watch.

That dentist scene is hilarious, I'll give it that much.

These are SO cool! I wonder why they didn´t make it a trilogy.

I think they're still going to do a third one, it's in the planning stages and Perlman definitely wants to do it even though he's 64 now.

It probably will since Pacific Rim 2 is not only greenlit but, just like Hellboy, it moved from it's original studio to Universal. Then again, it's Marvel so it may be by Disney instead. Apparently, Legendary Films moved from Warner to Universal so that's why it's distributing the sequel which is targeted for April 2017. Revolution Studios folded which explains Hellboy's move to Universal as well.

Nice news as well. Loved the first one even though it kind of dragged in the last half hour. Still, one of the better blockbuster movies of the past few years.

I've not seen it, but doesn't it have Bruce Campbell in it, too?

It's easier to enjoy when you or your dad was in the submarine service ;)
