Kinda is, actually. A lot of harmonizing footpedals going on too. It's not overly complicated but for some reason my hand is always a little sore after playing it. lol Could be cuz our drummer tends to play it fast. ;) Your drummer's tempo is different than the tempo set by your guitarist?! Funny you say that. Because of the quick delay on the guitar on the intro you would think it would set a good tempo but for whatever reason it gets fast. Not ridiculous "I can't keep up" speed but it makes the song a workout.

It's a pressure packed life I will say that. As I have said many times I just wish I could just tell somebody to "f**k off" just once or just not care what people think. We are all wired differently though and I doubt I am apt to change now... :sigh: Feelin' for you buddy. I totally relate.

Quit leavin' us you goof! Stupid work. At times it gets insane. Guilty of the "goof" thing though. :P

I loved his voice from the word go. To me what makes a voice great is it's uniqueness. I know it's Ged immediately. The sweet spot I think was between 2112 and Power Windows. Once he started harmonizing with himself all over the place I was less blown away. Then all I could focus on was his ability to get better as a bass player every single album. :D

I was fortunate enough to be front row for the Philly show this past tour. Right in front of Alex. Friends on either side of me, fantastic show, some interaction with the guys... epic experience. 3rd row was my best til this tour where I had 2nd and 1st row. Amazing.

Not the same chord structure but definitely similar. Just the vibe Al was into at the time. Much like his classical phase of AFTK. He definitely goes through phases.

I'm also digging this. So thankful there are smarter people than me on this planet. :D

Meanwhile Geddy's playing is on freaking point. :D Different instruments, different body styles and way fewer bar fights :) Not the way Geddy plays it... he just practices more than Al... and only one fewer. ;)
