Slow, really really slow. Clive Owen is good in this but he spends an awful lot of time doing inconsequential things and other stuff that has nothing to do with the plot. And talking of the plot it takes ages to get going and when it finally does it's the end of the film. And if you watch this film for Malcolm McDowell don't, his screen time adds up to about 5 minutes out of 98 and his only lines come in one 3 minute scene near he end.

I don't know how I got through this film with it's endless PC bullshit and so-called "comedy" crap. I think it was like this, every time I went to switch it off Kristin Bell would appear looking particularly good and I'd think: "oh ok I'll give it ten more minutes..."

I love Clive Owen but he needs a really good action flick.

Just got off work about an hour ago. There's a low budget film coming on. It's called "Hell Up In Harlem" A two star rating made back in 1973. I love these types of flicks! :D Edited by troutman

I have no doubt that this film acted as (at least some) inspiration for American Psycho... I see just too many similarities.

Well American Psycho was a book first, so the filmakers based the film version on the novel, they didn't need to borrow from another film so you can't blame them. Of course the book came out after the Cage film so maybe the author, Brett Easton Ellis got his ideas from watching it.

One may never know. If The Reagan Era was enough to steer our favorite band away from previous philosophical leanings, imagine the sentiment felt by those whose views on life were always against this idea of success.

*sigh* Oh the days when a low budget horror movie was actually good. Seems they've gone forever. This one looked promising from the poster, but it's really bad, to the point that is not worth your time. Three boys and three girls, as usual meddling with things they should leave alone. The boys are: the jock, the macho, the nerd. The girls are: the hippy, the bitch, the hot-but-with-brains-one. And they all die (rightly so). And you don't get to know anything about the lady killer in the mask. Even the bondage-torture scenes are bad. The lead, anyway, is way hot.

Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World- Loved it

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower- Loved it

Seriously think both films are modern classics, in the offbeat vein!

I have never seen the Kurt Russell film. I ill have to check it out.

It's a police drama set around the time of the LA Riots, based on a story by James Ellroy. It's pretty solid. Weird to see Kurt playing a asshole bad guy though.

Witty and funny, as expected. A little bit too long in the finale. Practically, Khan is Wolverine, now?

The underwear scene had me staring, I admit it.

Perks is the best John Hughes movie that Hughes never made.

Glad I am not the only one!

Emma Watson is hot.

Bought 2, 3 and 4 yesterday. Just a fiver for all three.

2 was a good sequel. A lot of fun and some cool action. Joe Pesci was a nice addition to the cast.
