Your_Lion Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/e8/Rushdoc.jpg/418px-Rushdoc.jpg Played it for my brother, who is just getting into Rush...he loved it, naturally I saw this for the first time recently as well! Needless to say, my live for this band grew even further!Yeah, it's a great documentary 1
goose Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 http://www.soundonsight.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/true_grit_poster_08.jpeg Did you like this? I thought the original was better.I did like it. Bridges was great, as was the girl. The dialogue and dialect really made this one. Didn't care for the end.
goose Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Junior BonnerI remember seeing it in the theater. I was (am) a huge Steve McQ fan. Steve and Paul...the essence of cool. 1
troutman Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Lani Waller's - Steelhead Legacy :haz: It's all about fishing. :D :7up:

I didn't remember the (not so) subtle racism of the plot. When the good US soldier rescues the slave miner, he doesn't say "We're in this together", he says "I'm the boss!". Sleek, eh? 2

I saw this for the first time a few months ago. Was really good, especially for the time when it came out. I remember reading something about how this was released before the moon landing and of course a lot of the things turned out to be not very plausible. But still great entertainment.
EagleMoon Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I watched Saving Mr. Banks last night. Wasn't sure what to expect but I really liked the movie. Even better since it was based on a true story. 1

Mr. Not Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 a bit on the long side but really good. http://www.bubblews.com/assets/images/news/3710376_1389183207.jpg Just finished watching it. Outstanding film and the runtime helps it in reaching it's highest potential. 2
jefeltner11 Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Wow, Edge of Tomorrow anyone? I just watched it and it was fantastic. But I say that about all movies! Critics tend to agree with me in saying it's one of the best movies within the past few years.

Mr. Not Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 After having watched Prisoners, I'm afraid to watch anything immediately after, despite wanting to... This is because I think it'll fall short of my expectations greatly. Any recommendations?
Lost In Xanadu Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Took the kids to a Drive In.. .saw a double feature: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/67/Rio_2_Poster.JPG http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/0c/X-Men_Days_of_Future_Past_poster.jpg
EagleMoon Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Everybody should comment on whether they like their movies or not. A lot of people are just posting pictures and saying they saw it. 2

Mr. Not Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Everybody should comment on whether they like their movies or not. A lot of people are just posting pictures and saying they saw it. Rule of thumb: if they don't say something bad, they liked it :) 2

This is because I think it'll fall short of my expectations greatly. Any recommendations? As far as recent ones go, I recommend The Spectacular Now. One of the better romance dramas since it's more realistic than those that get too sappy. That actress from Divergent and Fault In Our Stars is the female lead.

Rule of thumb: if they don't say something bad, they liked it :) But that doesn't tell me what they like or didn't like about the movie. I'm curious what people think about the movies they see.

treeduck Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/8/8c/Superhero_movie.jpg A Spider-man (with a bit of the X-men) parody that is daft as fuckk, quite funny though...
