jefeltner11 Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 There was a reason I put off watching the second Percy Jackson film and now I regret viewing it. It was seriously terrible.
Segue Myles Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 There was a reason I put off watching the second Percy Jackson film and now I regret viewing it. It was seriously terrible. the first one was average, but better than I had expected. Was surprised when they announced this sequel, as I thought the first one was only a minor hit! Why was this one bad?

Why was this one bad? I've seen both of them and I thought they were both pretty average.

It was seriously terrible. the first one was average, but better than I had expected. Was surprised when they announced this sequel, as I thought the first one was only a minor hit! Why was this one bad?Well the first one WAS average to me and I probably only gained entertainment out of it due to the fact that I used to love those flippin' books a year or two before it came out. Me watching the second one about 4 years later doesn't pack the same punch that I quite expected. I realized the way the actors portrayed the characters was nothing like I wished for....at all. There were few moments where I felt any emotional attachment to any of the characters due to how lazy and poorly executed the dialogue felt. It could just be because I've grown out of the series, but I say average is giving the film too much credit.
treeduck Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 http://oi58.tinypic.com/312xn3s.jpg A surprisingly good and funny film. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/42/Pushposter08.jpg This film probably has the most annoying soundtrack I've heard in a while, half the time drowning out the dialogue. In any case it's a poor rip-off of Heroes, Firestarter, X-Men and The Fury.

So the follow up doesn't sound all that appealing. But thanks for your view! I never read the books as I was exhausted by the number of YA fantasy series when I was about the right age to enjoy them. 1

Your_Lion Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I thought this one, while not a classic, was still pretty good.http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/1c/Carry_On_Loving_FilmPoster.jpeg Girls had some good moments, but I really missed Kenneth Williams...Carry On isn't really Carry on without himhttp://www.thewhippitinn.com/carry_on_films/carry_on_girls/images/poster.jpg 2

Segue Myles Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Hunger Games. Watched straight after finishing the book. Jennifer Lawrence, Woody Harrelson and the actress who plays Effie aside, this is a disappointment.
