Power Windows has always been, and WILL always be my favourite album, from anyone, of all time.

As much as every single one of us should say Moving Pictures, I voted Permanent Waves.

MP is, without question, a watershed album in rock music history (even if the average music fan doesn't completely realize it). It certainly deserves the love it gets in this poll.

That being said, I just absolutely love PW.

This is a really difficult choice, but overall I would have to go with "Power Windows." It was a tossup between that album, "A Farewell To Kings," "Moving Pictures," and "Test For Echo" for me, though.

I say Permenant Waves, but not by much. Their earlier stuff is still good, and then there's Moving Pictures. I also like Roll The Bones a lot, but I wouldn't say it's the best.

I'm surprised no one's voted for Feeback. It may not be original material, but all the covers are awesome.

For me, Waves is at the top, tied with Caress of Steel. And I agree that Feedback is solid.

Permanent Waves. I discovered Rush with this album, and it made me look at music in a completely different way. Kansas' Leftoverture introduced me to prog rock, but PW sealed the deal.

Leftoverture and Point of Know Return: My favorite Kansas albums!

heh heh... I see the majority of the people on this page like Permanent Waves.. I agree. But it's hard to choose a favorite.. on a previous page I picked HYF for play count but I can't pick a favorite by opinion.. waay too hard... sad.gif ph34r.gif

Moving Pictures: Mainly because it's consistantly great, stands up to loads of repeated listens, and contains most of my favourite Rush songs.

That said, I have a special place in my heart for Hold Your Fire, which was the album out when I got into Rush, and Roll The Bones as it was the album they were touring on when I went to see them.
