HEMISPHERES- My first RUSH purchase after I broke free from my KISS addiction and still my favorite. Played the hell out of that eight track !!!

Permanent Waves for me. Similar in sound to MP, but not as overplayed.

Lately I've been giving Counterparts a lot of spin.

I voted Hemispheres. As of right now, it is my favorite.

Note: I have only heard everything from the debut up to MP.

Songs I've heard on the radio or on compilations (post-MP):

Subdivisions

The Analog Kid (www.progarchives.com Type in Rush, and you can listen to this and other 2.gif gems)

New World Man

Distant Early Warning

Between The Wheels (I've only heard it from R30)

The Big Money

Mystic Rhythms

Force Ten

Time Stand Still

Roll The Bones (R30)

Where's My Thing? (www.progarchives.com)

Animate (R30)

Resist (R30)

The Stars Look Down (Believe it or not, I actually heard this on the radio one time, can't remember what station)

Freeze (www.progarchives.com)

Summertime Blues (R30)

Heart Full Of Soul (R30)

The Seeker (R30)

Crossroads (R30)

EDIT: Forgot Earthshine (R30) I think that's it.

I'd say Moving Pictures is their BEST, but my favorite right now is Vapor Trails: the first new Rush album for me in over a decade when my husband gave it to me in December--and it just knocked us flat!!! That + Rush in Rio drove us to catch up on everything I'd missed since Roll the Bones (last time I'd paid attention to Rush)...and, yes, to replace my old taped-from-a-friend copies with CDs--whereupon MP, PeW, and 2112 were the first on tap (also as Hanukkah presents: thank goodness for those 8 days, 'cos it got me LOTS of Rush for the end of the holiday!), but now we've got every studio album but Rush and CoS (we'll get 'em sooner or later). But VT will always have a special place in my heart for playing such an instrumental role in getting me back into Rush...

and for kicking a*s!!!!

Power Windows

It's the only album that doesn't fade in quality. Top Notch from The Big Money to Mystic Rhythms. Lush keyboard, Wal killer bass sound, Alex in his prime, Neil with intense electronic drums and 8 fantastic songs with an underlying theme.

Music to perfection.

The reason why I picked Vapor Trails is because it helped me get through a very long, expensive & nasty divorce. Every time I played it I thought of how fortunate I was under the circumstances as compared to Neil who lost his entire family.

I highly recommend reading Ghost Rider to anyone and everyone who hasn't yet.

Always remember Jackie & Celina while being happy for Neil & Carrie today.
