  1. QUOTE (Red-Barchetta @ May 13 2006, 02:07 AM) Totem lyrics: "Vishnu and Gaia"* ... *Vishnu is female, right? I'm sure Gaia is ... so, goddesses ... R-B non-pagan, lol Force Ten (Dreamline and Force Ten both album openers, also used as concert openers) P.S. Vishnu is male.
  2. QUOTE (Schmoo @ May 15 2006, 02:16 PM) QUOTE (GW2 @ May 15 2006, 07:32 PM) I completely understand what you are saying and where you are coming from, but wouldn't you agree that Time Stand Still says the same thing, only better? Yes, I agree with that. The lyrics of Dog Years are more clever though, in my opinion. All depends on whether you like your statements heartfelt or humorous: I'm glad Rush can do both! Time Stand Still and Available Light mean a great deal more to me than Dog Years, but I don't see that as a reason to sneeze at DY and its approach. (And I enjoyed it a lot more once I felt that Neil's tongue was firmly in his cheek for most of the song--c'mon, surely he's having fun when he pens lines about "doggie heaven"!) And I agree with Kudzu that TSS and AL are "much, much, much better songs"--but that's okay with me! (They're among my favorites, and I can't think of anything on T4E that I like nearly as much as either of 'em.)
  3. Whoa! Nice find on the pic, Enemy Within!
  4. Whew! I haven't been by in a while... Thanks for all the Ged eye-candy, Soddy! I was missin' this thread last night when TRF was down & I was listening to one of the new boots we just got in the mail (First Part of Counters) and at certain moments in the vocals just thinking Oh! My! Ged! ssssssssooooooo hhhhhhhotttttt!!! "I'll be around....if you don't...push me...down!" Oh, but we'd love to! So: good to have TRF & the Geddy is hot!! thread back!
  5. QUOTE (Snowdog @ Mar 12 2006, 09:42 AM) Did Edgar really die? They never really said so, it was implied. It wouldn't surprise me if for some weird reason, the nerve gas didn't kill Edgar and he was brought back. No way. That would be cheap. Not gonna happen. He's dead. (Only Jack gets to pull stunts like dying & then coming back to life! )
  6. Yes indeed! But imagine my surprise when I took a look at the threads and saw: "Geddy is hot--Last post by: Bastille Night" BN, fancy meeting you here!
  7. http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f238/MiriyaB/BoysonPhoneRush_74_2_patti2112.jpg ...are we all jealous of Alex now? I'm sure Soddy can think of good things to do with phone cords....
  8. ah, but what about Veggie Lee??? Check out the latest Slowpoke strip... and get ready to defend the honor of Ged!!! (Is he hot even as an eggplant?) Actually, I think the cartoonist's recurring character Drooly Julie would fit right in on this thread! (Check here for such strips as "Drooly Julie's Real Estate Advice" and "Drooly Julie's Church of Sexitarianism")
