Going to see Rush on the Roll The Bones Tour in Sheffield, UK, in 1992. Amazing. They don't tour the Uk enough, and I missed them on the R30 Tour. :( I finally got to go see them again twice on this last tour.

    Cloverfield

Better quality full trailer: HERE I'm glad they've kept this under wraps as it's certainly feeding the buzz on this movie. The plot as far as we know, is New York is destroyed by a (monster/whatever) and during the clear-up, rescuers find a video-camera, the play back the tape, and what's on the tape is the movie. Beginning with a going-away party for a guy, and decending into the monster attack.... There's nothing about this that looks bad...
  3. Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you'll have noticed this trailer for the forthcoming awesome-looking monster-movie from JJ Abrams. Now Trailer #2 is looking pretty good (beware, very crudely shot, and LOUD!) TRAILER #2 Are we looking forward to this movie? I think so.
  4. Fabulous! I love.... lamp.
  5. Wow, eh? I do like the sound of the plot though. City was an excellent episode (except that Joan Collins was in it....)
  6. True dat: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R78KWHBy-bY I'll have a Samuel Jackson...
  7. It's a shame all the Chappelle stuff was removed from Youtube, we coulda had some fun posting our favourite sketches.
  8. Yo! On my first trip to the states I picked up both seasons on DVD. Awesome. My favourite sketches, Nat King Cole objectifying women, and Samuel Jackson's Beer ("It'll get you DRUNK!"). Rick James has been endlessly quoted, but is still great. I do prefer the "Prince" one of the two Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories. I also loved the Great Moments In Hook-Up History.
  9. Planet Terror was hilarious! But yeah, Death Proof was the best of the two. Gotta love that ending.

    Transformers

QUOTE (ElectricEye @ Jul 16 2007, 12:58 PM) QUOTE (JimboGames @ Jul 14 2007, 04:02 PM) . The same dude that voiced Optimus Prime in the cartoon series was Optimus in the movie. Same guy as Megatron too! Nuh-uh, Hugo Weaving was Megatron. Starscream was in the cartoon. Besides it being a "disengage-brain" movie, I enjoy this enormously. And Megan Fox? Very shiny!
  11. The one that goes: "Beeeeeeeeeeoooooooooooowwwwwww", Tom Sawyer.
  12. What exactly does a "Human Serviette" do?
  13. http://us.ent2.yimg.com/musicfinder.yahoo.com/images/yahoo/atlantic/rush/neil1.jpg Is this what they mean by "traditional grip"?

    Star Trek

QUOTE (JohnnyBlaze @ Nov 3 2007, 03:18 PM) QUOTE (Melll @ Nov 4 2007, 12:07 AM) I see your point, and I'm a huge fan of Pegg's work, longtime fan of Spaced. I'm just surprised by the choice. Honestly, I don't even know the guy. I'm just hoping for a decent story at this point. Most of the Trek movies have disappointed me (I only like 3 of them) Seriously... seek out Spaced, it's FANtastic! Agreed on the good Trek Movies. I hate the Slow-Motion Picture, and Five is just utter bobbins!
