Midway Hawker
Jim Beam Black SN Celebration Ale... Yum.. I stopped by BevMo today and they had a sign for SN ESB (Extra Special Bitter) which I have had before but never seen bottled.. Apparently, it's new and they were just out of it. So I'll be checking back on that one..
Mr. Mojo Risin'
I just popped into to express my disdain at the Sierra Nevada hate. Last night I had a couple Sam Adams Winter Lagers and a couple Pyramid Hefeweizen.

Dread Pirate Robert
Longhammer IPA. Saw this beer at the local grocery store that I usually buy my groceries at. At 6.5 % alcohol, this is the first beer that they have carried that is above the old SC alcohol limit. Figured I needed to buy a couple of sixes in order to encourage them to continue this tentative "trend." Not a bad beer. Quite decent, in fact. Edit: LOL. Just noticed that this is a "Red Hook" beer. Somehow that small label tucked away in the corner evaded my notice until now. Red Hook is a company I am quite familiar with -- but the point remains the same, must encourage the local grocery to stock more "high gravity" ales.
