Once Upon A Time In Hollywood trailer
Dread Pirate Robert replied to invisible airwave's topic in Video Vertigo
Noticed it’s on Starz now since they’re the home for current Sony movies. Ending isn’t too surprising since Well, I was surprised by it. And I have seldom enjoyed such delight regarding a surprise ending as I did in that movie. That was kickass. LOL -
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood trailer

Saw this last night. Great movie. And, yeah, really enjoyed the twist at the end. Did not see that coming. -
Plus, I had previously gotten to a place in my mind where I had assumed that the days of any joyous sexual activity were largely behind me, never to come again. With a lot of patience and persistence and encouragement from her , I have now come around to realizing that was all false bullshit on my part, just some illusion I had adopted in my brain, and am now having the best sex of my life. LOL at that. Yep, tis awesome :) Hey, yeah, age 53 is where life first begins ;)

Internet debating/arguing is overrated to the Nth degree. Full frontal (aka "face to face") conversation RULES!! :haz: :haz: I have known that for a long time, but . . . the opportunity to actually do that was so rare, before. Most people are just so boring, imo, not equipped to do much in the way of stimulating intellectual conversation at all.

Yes. and in soul and mind as well. She is a good influence on me, tempering my more extreme edges, like when I am ready to post on FB that so and so should just go f**k themselves and then die because they are really just too stupid to live, she is saying gently and convincingly to me things like "you really could get your ultimate point across in kinder and more productive ways than that " ;) Other people trying to tell me that might very well just piss me off even more, not so with her. But, hell, she is also a reason I lost interest in online debates (compared to my deep interest in them before). Why? Because she is smart and full of insight and I enjoy discussing things so much with her that the "need" of going online for such things has been greatly decreased. Why go online at all when one can have stimulating conversations with one's own fiancé then wifey?

Guess whose pic is my new avatar

Y'all just can't let go of that, can you? If you want to argue about it some more, go do it in SOCN, not here. Sheesh. You started that nonsense. What part about "argue about it in SOCN" do you not understand? -

Damn, I wish I'd seen this earlier. I knew it, based on a picture which accompanied a good Quillette article about him. https://quillette.co...i-totalitarian/ I read that same article. It is, in fact, where I got the pic from. -

Quentin Tarantino is making a Star Trek movie
Dread Pirate Robert replied to JohnnyBlaze's topic in Video Vertigo
I am glad to see you have changed your mind and are now enthusiastic about the idea of Tarantino doing Star Trek. PS -- Don't forget to change your vote in the poll. -
Lagertha emerges from the big battle with white hair. When it was started, she was blonde. That was a fast change ;)

Saw it recently. I liked it

I really like this. My daughter introduced me to the existence of this musical instrument earlier tonight via FB.. She wants me to buy one.

Truly outstanding movie.

Let me try to persuade you to go for a lighter canoe instead, since I happen to believe, and my two children agree with me, that a canoe is superior to a kayak in just about every way. There are lots of smaller, lighter canoes on the market than the full family beast you described above. I'm glad to hear from someone that has had experience with both! Yes, it's mainly that we need something smaller and lighter. We have always enjoyed canoeing, except for a few creeks around here that are too shallow, where we sometimes go tubing. :) :) Seriously, what is the advantage of a kayak over a canoe? There is none, unless perhaps one is hunting whales in the arctic ocean with a harpoon, and the closed shell nature of a kayak might help keep one warm instead of freezing to death in the ocean spray. Frankly, I consider the current kayak craze to be just a silly fad. The canoe is a better boat for almost all purposes.
