Porcupine Tree at the House of Blues in Cleveland on Oct. 22.

The Toronto show at the Phoenix is a 19+ concert. Being one year shy of that, instead of trying to get fake ID's and probably get turned away anyway, me and my friend are taking a road trip to the Cleveland show. This will also be my first time I've been further in the States then Buffalo laugh.gif

The Phoenix just lost their liscense aparently because they were letting minors in. Hopefully it can get re-opened soon. I miss that place sad.gif

It was of the highest quality. My fave was G Spot Tornado from Jazz from Hell. Ray White was another real highlight and its rare for to say that about a vocalist- he was excellent.

Per a post at the zappa forum the setlist was:

My Guitar

Echidna's Arf

Tiny Lights

Montana

Cheepnis

Advance Romance

Carolina

Dumb All Over

Baltimore

Pygmy Twylyte

Dupree's Paradise

Uncle Remus

Willie The Pimp

Joe's Garage

Gas Station

San Berdino

Slime

Illinois Enema Bandit

Encore:

Cosmik

G Spot

Muffin

I think this setlist is missing the final encore. Don't know the name of it.

Did they lose it becuase they were letting minors in regulary to the bar or for concerts? because I know some of the concerts there are all ages.

Kay Hanley at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, MA tonight

Brad Delp tribute show on Sunday with the tattered remains of Boston, Beatlejuice, RTZ, and Orion the Hunter, along with Farrenheit and Godsmack and maybe a few others.

Rush in Milwaukee 9/6

Rush in New York 9/17

Mission of Burma at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston on 9/23... assuming tickets don't sell out during the presale next week. They're doing two shows that day and I might go to both.

There will probably be more mixed in depending on the Boston/Cambridge club schedules over the next month.

I'll be seeing Scorpions next Tuesday - after that a bit of a break for two weeks until three Rush shows in 6 days in mid September.

I wanted to see Cradle of Filth in Montreal on the 20th but I think seeing three shows in three different cities in three nights would be too much.

Aaaargh - I really wanted to go and so did a friend, so we broke down and bought Filth tickets.

Three concerts in three nights in three different cities... should be an interesting road trip!

Just found out Neil Young is coming to the Keller on 10/22. Going to make every effort to go to that.

Awesome!

He is one of the very very few musical artists left that I haven't seen but would REALLY like to experience!
