Going to see The Strawbs tonight.  It's the Hero & Heroine line-up playing an electric set (Strawbs also tour as an accoustic version).  If they're only half as good as the last time it will be a stunning show.

Hey, I brought up the Strawbs on the Greatest British Bands topic.

Amazed there still going at it.

Glad to see someone else appreciate them also!!! yes.gif new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

I saw the Who in October. Great show.

Can they really still be called The Who?

Wouldn't be more realistic just say Daltery&Townshend(Like Plant&Page )

And whatever happened to Kenny Jones he disappeared from the line up after a couple of Who albums and a few of there farewell tour(S). tongue.gif confused13.gif

Yet their new album is better than anything the Who have done since about 1975.

And by some miracle, I actually managed to score Row W on the floor.

I am beside myself right now.

Good news PK - Here, their UK/Ireland dates next week sold out in about six minutes. I couldn't have gone though because I'm on stage.

Good news though is they've confirmed for the Oxegen festival in July, and I already have my ticket sorted for that.

Other bands confirmed include - Snow Patrol, Muse, The Fratellis, James Morrison, Amy Winehouse, Bloc Party, Kings of Leon, My Chemical Romance, Interpol, The Kooks, Klaxons, Scissor Sisters, Babyshambles, Daft Punk, Tori Amos and CSS.

Anyone in Scotland, this will also be the basic line up for T in the Park as well.

Now, let's get The Decemberists, TV on the Radio, Of Montreal and The New Pornographers added to the bill and my summer will be complete!.

Yes. I miss Moonie and Entwistle, but the real creative genius of The WHo (Pete) and the front man are still there. Even though its "Who's Left" they put on one hell of a show. trink39.gif

Just got tix an hour ago for the Porcupine Tree show at Cleveland's HOB! Anyone else here going? We have a group of at least 5 from the Rush boards going right now. Maybe we can do a preshow meetup at Fat Fish Blue or somewhere else.
