PolarizeMe Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Just two more shows for me this year. I initially planned for a 3rd show, but I decided to narrow it down to the two shows I wanted to see the most so I finish the year with 15 shows, the most I've seen in a year ever. Ghost - 11/12 - Kings Theatre - Brooklyn, NYEndon (w/Mutoid Man and Summoner) - 11/26 - Saint Vitus Bar - Brooklyn, NY
Brucey Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Just booked to see ARW in Nottingham on the 21st March. 2
PolarizeMe Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Looks like I will go to another show aside from the two I mentioned. Laurabw Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 I have the Trinity thing with Geoff Tate and the other two dudes.Anyone seeing Kings X in NYC or NJ? 3
Laurabw Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 We just booked Dream Theater (just me), Brand X, Marillion and Carl Palmer within 10 minutes on Saturday. I've been on CD binges before, but this is uncharted territory. I'm not sure I want to add that up.How was Carl Palmer? I shoulda gone by myself to that one.
Laurabw Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Planned: Kansas - 10/30 at Taft Theater, Cincinnati, OHRoger Waters - 7/20 at Nationwide Arena, Columbus, OH Possible: Dream Theater - 11/5 at Palace Theatre, Columbus, OHDark Star Jubilee - 2017 in Thornville, OH Had a pretty good year so far. Kansas will be doing Leftoverture in full, so I am VERY excited for that. Roger Waters doing a summer tour is going to be expensive, so hoping to get good tix early. Hoping for another Dead + Co summer tour next year. Would love to get on the bus for three of those shows. Leftoverture in full?????? Omg 1
Chicken hawk Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Tim McGraw and Faith Hill July 8th TD Garden Boston, Mass. 2
Laurabw Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Tim McGraw and Faith Hill July 8th TD Garden Boston, Mass.I'm a HUGE Tim fan, I'm seeing them here in NJ in May. I was one of the lucky ones to go to Nashville last month. 1
New_World_Man Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 (edited) Marillion was my last show. Very good concert. I even saw one or two people wearing RUSH t shirts. I kind of want to see Carl Palmer but tickets are about fifty dollars. I'm going to take a break from shows for a while. I'm a big prog rock fan but there's not much going on. There's a couple of Rosfest bands playing in Philly(No more Pain and Jolly) but I'm a little burnt out on shows right now. Edited November 18, 2016 by New_World_Man
PolarizeMe Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 (edited) Last show of the year before I scale back concerts a little bit for the time being and start being really selective over which shows to attend... Endon (w/Mutoid Man and Summoner) - Saint Vitus Bar - Brooklyn, NY - November 26, 2016 That said, I've already got my first show for 2017:Alcest (w/The Body and Creepers) - Irving Plaza - New York, NY - February 19, 2017 Edited November 24, 2016 by PolarizeMe

ytserush Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 We just booked Dream Theater (just me), Brand X, Marillion and Carl Palmer within 10 minutes on Saturday. I've been on CD binges before, but this is uncharted territory. I'm not sure I want to add that up.How was Carl Palmer? I shoulda gone by myself to that one. It was Awesome! Sixth time I've seen him since 2010. Different set this time around too. I don't know if it was mentioned before (or if it was just Carl being Carl) but he said Keith Emerson was supposed to join him for the tour this year and they played the set that Keith and he agreed on. I had no idea so that bummed me out a bit. But they were on fire as usual. Carl left it all on the stage. He was breathing heavily after many of the tunes (which I thought was kind of scary.) They even covered America which a Nice song (as in The Nice which was Emerson's band before he formed Emerson Lake and Palmer.) There were a few other rarities (which I liked) but it was pretty much a greatest hits set even if some of those got left out the last few times I saw him. I'm hoping he comes back next year. I go to shows by myself about half of the time. If I REALLY want to see someone I don't let something like that stop me. Brand X is next on my list in January. 2

Oh, I go alone too but sometimes it just gets old. Geoff Tate is playing city winery in nyc next year I might have to go and I'm sure I will be alone for that one. I just did the Trinity show last weekend by myself at Bb Kings, was really fun. Blaze Bayley is a total nut job. Anyway, concert sounds like it was great. Edited December 3, 2016 by Laurabw 2
