What absolute assholes. To grab a player during game-play is beyond the pale. How about a lifetime ban?

Nope. They are season-ticket holders. They were bragging about it at a bar after the game that they will be back there tomorrow night.

Yeah, I saw that. But the way that guy was talking about himself -- "We patrol the wall," like he's Jon Effin Snow -- suggests he needs a sharp slap to his mental health.  This wasn't some incidental contact; they grabbed a player -- a guy whose activities are the reason anyone is at the ballpark -- and injected themselves into the contest. A ban would be a sanitary cordon for the sport.

My first thought was: "Two schmuck losers who have never done anything meaningful in their lives, trying to fabricate some sense of "greatness" for themselves.

Was your second thought, "Well, that's par for the course for this particular fanbase"?

Boston Bruins would've reacted differently.    :smash:

No, not at all.  Maybe for the Mets' and Phillies' fan bases.  I'm a National League man.

Well, Mookie Betts played in Boston, but he never really felt accepted there, for some reason.

Perhaps lack of shoe action.

Betts, who helped guide the Dodgers to a World Series title in 2020, said on the podcast that it was his desire to remain with the Red Sox not just for the '20 season, but for the rest of his playing days. “I know people don't believe it, but I wanted to stay in Boston my whole career,” Betts said.

oh that's too easy. Invite them into the Dodgers clubhouse after LA wins. lock the door and turn out the lights.

What's wrong fellas? Ballsack shrink just a little when you're not backed by thousands of your buds?

For once, the Dodgers didn’t slip up at the last minute!

I wonder if those two banned Yankee fans blame themselves for the loss, since they weren't there to inspire their team.
