Nova Carmina
A Series of Unfortunate Events -- Lemony Snicket (the books get a little tedious by the end of the run [at least for an adult], but the first three or four have lots of clever word play and suspense)
BigMontanaSKY
(Very adult themes but) Novels by Christopher Pike R L Stine's Goosebumps Series Hit up any big bookstore, they usually have a whole section devoted to tween and teen books.

Way back in the dim and distant past, when I was a mere tween myself, I read the entire series and was captivated by the whole saga.

She likes to go to sleep at night listening to the audible versions of them.

Enjoyable, appropriate, and either intellectually or morally educational are usually my standards.

BigMontanaSKY
Back on topic......there's a low cost or free book app called Libby that probably has good recommendations. Some young readers are very "brand loyal" to certain authors, others prefer audiobooks if they enjoy multitasking or are dyslexic.

The Chronicles of Narnia is already mentioned. I read it many times as a tween and immersed deeply in it. Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials might be more appealing to teens, but it's worth keeping in mind for the near future. I remember enjoying Robert C. O'Brien's Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. Oh boy, it was a thrill! I think I will have to find it in the vaults of our library. Edited October 27 by Sun & Moon

This is another one to enjoy on audio, Jacques is the narrator and then there is a cast for all the characters, lots of fun!
Rhyta
Since I love Greek mythology, have to recommend Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Takes a fun turn on the stories and a hero with ADHD. Another audio version I love too.
