It does look similar!

My niece visited one time and had this weird guy with her with Charles Manson vibes.  He kept saying, "I've got to meet the person who drew this!"  :blink:  I was glad it was only one night, we were a little afraid of getting knifed in our sleep. (only half kidding . . . )

He's probably out there now stalking the hills looking for new victims! :zalice:

Björk -- Homogenic (1997)

It's been SO long! I love her so much. I need to do a full marathon -- right now I'm bored of all these albums I've listened to a thousand times each over the last half-century.

Any other Björk-appreciators here??

Absolutely! I love the first five, haven’t checked out the rest yet. Medulla and Vespertine especially.

Awesome! I too have never heard anything beyond Medúlla, save a single track from last fall's Fossora.

TIme for a deep dive.

Dragonforce - Inhuman Rampage

Dragonforce - Ultra Beatdown

For Inhuman Rampage I have to go with "Through the Fire and Flames" as my favorite (gee, what a shock).  My second favorite would either be "Body Breakdown" or Cry for Eternity".  That being said, I liked everything on the record with one exception.  The exception was the ballad (the last song on the album).  That I did not care for.  Everything else I enjoyed.

For Ultra Beatdown its hard to pick a favorite song.  Perhaps "Heroes of our Time" or "The Fire Still Burns" (which feel like wants to be part 2 of "Through the Fire and the Flame") or "The Last Journey Home" or the ballad "A Flame for Freedom" or "The Warrior Inside".  They are about equally good.  That being said, the other songs on the album I found to be a bit weak.  So overall it was an ok album but not up to the level of their first 3 albums.

Björk -- Debut (1993)

The closer is maybe my favorite. A sax trio backing? Genius! So much cooler than it could have been.

I have a ticket to see them next week, but I’ve never listened to them before (an old friend told me we should go see them, so I caved). Thoughts?
