This reminds me of new favorite villain, Mr. Nimbus!

Wow, I don't think I've ever heard of the Sub Mariner. Is he like an anti-hero?

Prince Namor, half-Atlantian, half human. He had a series in the 1960s, and was well-known in the 70s. Not sure why he disappeared from the Marvel consciousness. I believe he may be brought back as the villain in the next Black Panther film.

Grantray Lawrence Animation also filmed cartoon series for Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and the Hulk. They were likely best known for the corny theme songs that played at the start and end of each adventure:

A lot of names went through my head for this one.  The Silver Surfer, the Fantastic Four (esp. The Thing), Spiderman, Wonder Woman & Kamela Khan all deserve consideration.  But in the end its the mighty Thor that gets my vote.

Wonder Woman. Watched the TV series religiously in the late 1970s and a fan of the recent "Wonder Woman" (2017) and "Wonder Woman 1984" (2020). A script was recently finished for Wonder Woman 3 but filming is not going to happen it was just announced.

Exactly the same with me.  Watched the TV series & both movies.  Not happy that Wonder Woman 3 is not going to be filmed.  Not happy at all.

The-Hollywood-Insider-Henry-Cavill-Retur

Most people are actually blaming Dwayne Johnson for the Henry Cavill debacle at DC Studios.

Whoever is responsible, there is probably a lawsuit in there somewhere.

When I was a kid back in the 70s I used to read a comic containing Thor Odinson and War Hammer.

Thor was your typical Norse god with blonde hair, blue eyes, rippling muscles and of course his trusty hammer

Batman, Green Lantern, & Aquaman.

I even have a limited edition Green Lantern ring. I've wanted one since I was six.

Being the greatest president this country has ever seen despite being the most persecuted and mistreated president this country has ever seen.

I've never been much of a superhero/comic book person but for some reason I've always thought Aquaman was different than the rest of them.

I guessed wrong. I thought it might be his fully poseable action hair.

Maguire's Spider-Man and Bale's Batman, largely from "that's what I grew up watching".

I have to agree with that !
