Entre_Perpetuo Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 I haven't listened to either of these albums yet, but this is what the poll generator came up with. What do you think?
_hi_water._ Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Pat Benatar is infinity lightyears better than Ted Nugent 2
Segue Myles Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Tropico is one of the best pop albums of all time.
goose Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Tropico is one of the best pop albums of all time. Pat Benatar is infinity lightyears better than Ted NugentTrue and true. But Double Live Gonzo! is one of rock's monster live albums of all time, and I know that ain't nobody out there that came to get mellow... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCcwfZ2ArK4 3
Rick N. Backer Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 I'll stick up for Sweaty Teddy. He's very polarizing now, for reasons unrelated to his music. Mid to late 70s Nugent is great classic rock though. That live album really belongs in the discussion with Frampton, UFO, Skynyrd, Cheap Trick and the Kinks as an artist's high water mark. I do love Pat though. She kinds of petered out by mid to late 80s, but great voice. She did a blues album in the early 90s (I think) I really like. 2
laughedatbytime Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 (edited) Nuge by the universe. And I like Benetar. Edited May 14, 2021 by laughedatbytime 1
J2112YYZ Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 Pat Benatar because I can't miss the opportunity to vote against Nugent. 4
custom55 Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 (edited) Pat Benatar does not sell tickets on GroupOn. Edited May 15, 2021 by custom55 1
ReRushed Posted May 14, 2021 Posted May 14, 2021 1970s Ted Nugent is a fret board master of marvelous delight. A dazzling dexterity of gonzo goodness. 2
tangy Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 Musically its Ted. He had a handful of great tunes but thats not his legacy in my eyes. From a journey to the center of your mind to a journey to center of your behind...... Rattle my snake 1
