Unsurprisingly, there are a lot of songs called Hold On. If you haven't heard all of these, it doesn't matter, just decide on the ones you know, I didnt even know of a couple of these prior to making this. I made sure to only include ones that people have a decent chance of knowing.

Here's a couple of Canadian classics.

Santana covered Ian's song, which features Canadian drummer Graham Lear.

Then there's this one.

I love the harmonies in the Wilson Phillips one, so I voted for that! thanks for posting it.

The song also features Joe Walsh on guitar.

Seriously? I never knew that, and I owned the cass single    For whatever reason, I knew I liked it a lot. That's a cool fact.

YES in this case, it's a heavy metal classic.

Pretty good, but Triumph takes this one for me. The whole album is great.

Worth noting that one and the aforementioned Impulsive in my post have Joe Walsh on guitar.

I can't say for sure if I have ever heard any of these songs before.

In related news, apparently there are people including a new ESPN analyst who have never heard of Ann Wilson regarding the National Anthem. Google is at their fingertips and they're in the top 40 Radio Disney bubble.

Are these songs everyone should know? Were they popular? I'm not a fan of any band on here except for Deep Purple but all I know from them is the Gillian stuff.

As a rock fan, I'm surprised you havent at least heard of the Kansas, Triumph, or Yes songs, but hey, it opens new opportunities

Me too # Not even Purple, where I`ve consciously avoided anything featuring David Coverdale. Edited by IbanezJem

Honestly, a little surprised no one has chosen Kansas yet, which would be my 2nd choice over Yes, but I can't say I blame anyone, this is a very solid group of songs.

I voted for Kansas, and didn't think it was a particularly difficult choice.
