The Hangover.

All I heard repeatedly is how funny this movie was. When I finally saw it I don't think I laughed once.

From the trailer I saw it looked pretty dumb. Glad I skipped it.

Me too. I don't fid many of the "bro" comedies very funny.

I can’t think of one I’ve seen that’s funny. Come to think of it, I can’t remember the last one I’ve seen

The Sixth Sense. Effectively creepy in parts, but mostly dull and the final "reveal" is completely ridiculous when you think about it.

Why is it ridiculous?

Here's my list:

The Quiet Place (2018)

Inside Out (2015)

Big Hero 6 (2014)

Pulp Fiction (1994) COME AT ME

The Dark Knight (2008) COME AT ME

Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 (2011)

A Quiet Place actually deserves the praise it gets. The actors did a movie with no dialogue and relied on sign/body language and their physical actions to sell a story. Pretty unique concept to do in a movie today.

the movie is just boring af and is too predictable

Oh, so you were expecting superhero movie action and a Shyamalan twist before seeing it then?

 I was just expecting something scary or entertaining

Well, the entertaining part is supposed to be that they did it all without dialogue. I didn't think it was scary but then movies don't usually scare me too easily anyways. I found it to be more suspense than anything. It's still better than that boring Lord Of The Rings garbage. At least A Quiet Place got me to care about what was happening and didn't make me turn it off out of apathy like the first Rings movie did.

zzzzzzz - oh sorry whuzzat? oh ok lol it's uh you know uh like your opinion m8

We're not a bunch of no life teenagers who post on Twitter all day, so you can speak English when you post here.

I stand by what I said about Lord Of The Rings. 90 minutes into it I turned that uninteresting snore fest off. They didn't get me to care about the characters, their mission or the significance of the rings, so I stopped watching. No sense going any further when they didn't do anything to make me give a damn.

I really think the Hobbit book and film are way better than LOTR.

Why is it ridiculous?

Because it was obvious.

Did you also know that Verbal Kint was really Keyser Soze, or that Darth Vader was Luke's father? ;)

The Hangover is way overrated and the sequels are just shite.

Interstellar is good but overrated and overlong.

Nearly every Best Picture Oscar winner ever.

It was not to me and Im glad - friends of mine knew what was happening and were bored the whole time. I watched it a second time and couldnt believe the cues I missed.

Some bunghole blabbed the ending to me before I saw it. I’m not sure if I would’ve caught the big reveal or not if i hadn’t known

That would have just ruined the whole point, unless, like Columbo, you would have enjoyed it anyway to watch it unfold. i wouldnt have...

I already had plans to see it with friends so I was going to go regardless of the wanker spoiling it. But yeah, it was ruined.

Jeez that’s loads worse given the quality of the two movies. But yeah, shitty either way.

And those who claimed they knew Darth was the daddy are just flat out liars.

What exactly is your point here? He thinks something is overrated. What has that got to do with either your feelings, as you sound quite heated, or Lord Of The Rings?

For the record, LOTR is in my all time top ten, and the books are amazing too. Not sure why you feel the need to tear into them at all in response to someone disliking a recent horror movie.

The whole disney franchise...

I'll not go so far, but many of them are vastly overrated.

Frozen and Big Hero 6 especially

I love them both

Big Hero 6 is one of the worst Disney movies, and Frozen has one of the most annoying soundtracks ever
