Dog Years.

In a dog's life

A year is really more like seven

And all too soon a canine

Will be chasing cars in doggie heaven

I loathe Dog Years and Rivendell is a close second. I guess I'm one of the few that likes Red Lenses.

I like Red Lenses too. Its Between the Wheels that sucks from GuP. Never understood the love.

I like that one too! It had a lot of radio play in 1984. How old are you?

I thought you were asking yourself for a second, since you quoted yourself.

No sign of High Tide or Net girl, net boy whatever that song is. I can live with those quieter songs on the earlier albums as they kind of operate as a breather between the epics but from Grace Under Pressure onwards there were some cringy clunkers like Second Nature which sounds like something Captain and Tenille would write or Superconductor which sounds like Kenny Loggins wrote it. Then there's the Ying and Yang albums; Counterparts and Test For Echo, both of which I would rarely listen too. Things have got back on track with the last few albums, Clockwork Angels could have been fabulous with a few filler songs cut and the production which makes it wearing on the ears.

Just my opinion.

Virtuality has been mentioned twice, though it's not near being one of the worst, though it does share an album with the band's biggest embarrassment, Half the World.

Any "worst Rush Song" poll without Anagram and Second Nature might as well be a "Best of" poll. My "worst" poll would be as follows:

• Anagram (For Mongo)

• Second Nature

• Anagram (For Mongo)

• Second Nature

• Rivendell

• Anagram (For Mongo)

• Second Nature

• Anagram (For Mongo)

• Second Nature

• Speed of Love

• Anagram (For Mongo)

• Second Nature

I don't mind some of those 'worst songs' tbh

I think I'm going bald = Great old school, catchy rock riff.

Emotion detector = Majestic. Beautiful guitar work from Alex and Geddy's voice is in fine form.

Speed of love = I know this song is hated around here, but I think it sh*ts on some of the more revered songs. Such as The Garden.

That the song was sung by grownups

Is a dire miscarried crime

Mined by meter-minded men

A determined waste of time

Neurotica would've been better received if A: it didn't have that tinny wimpy Rupert Hine sound and B: The chorus wasn't so weak

Geddy mentioned in an interview not long ago that this song was one of his "what were we thinking?" moments much like Tai Shan
