82) Family Guy (KenJennings)

There are very few shows that make me laugh as often as Family Guy. I know it's a popular target for hate because it pisses everyone off from time to time, and it's not as smart or as timeless as some of its competition; but year after year, it continues to make me laugh. It's original run borrowed much of The Simpsons' formula, but took it to a ridiculous extreme. It gave us something familiar and comfortable, but also something we'd never seen before. Since then, the show has integrated more and more random pop culture callbacks and off the wall humor, but it still hits home for me. Family Guy, like it or not, is a part of the fabric of American TV, and I think that's a good thing.

83-- The Civil War (1990). Ken Burns directs the monumental task of trying to tell what is probably the most important historical event in the history of the US through photographs and the written word of people who were there in just 9 episodes. Voiceover work by Sam Waterston, Jason Robards, Morgan Freeman, Julie Harris, and others. Narrated by David McCollough.

84) Unsolved Mysteries (JohnnyBlaze)

The younger sibling of my #40 pick, In Search Of.

Unsolved Mysteries had the advantage of being longer and covering multiple segments within one episode. In the latter seasons they overdid it with the Lost Love stories but overall this was an enjoyable several seasons of episodes. I favored the pieces on ghosts, aliens, and monsters. Robert Stack was good here.

85) The Apprentice

Should have won several Emmys. Sad!

Seriously, though..

85) F Troop

Couldn't make this show today but it was a truly hilarious show.

This show is so addictively trashy I love it! Never scary, sometimes thought provoking, always self aware and totally bonkers, I enjoy this shoq immensely!

87) ALF (New World Man)

I didn't watch it religiously back when it was on but I do remember watching it for sure. Whether you liked it or not you have to admit there was no show like it before it or after it. I personally don't see how anyone can not like a show about a sarcastic wised ass furry alien but maybe that's just me. A very funny show. My favorite moment is where he was in a monastery and said that he thought one of the monks was Cat Stevens. Lol.

There's been a couple seasons that I thought misfired but overall it's a very well written and acted show. Sarah Paulson has become one of my favorite actresses because of this series. Loving the current season so far.

I was all about ALF when I was a kid. Had a stuffed animal of him that I carried around all the time. Some shirts and sweat pants with him on it. I was a really big fan. Don't think the show aged well. I saw some reruns years later and couldn't fathom why I was so obsessed with the show during it's original run.

I love Freak Show and Roanoke the most.

Finally watching Coven, which I really enjoy. The first season was good. But I hated what I saw of Hotel. A couple of seens were major triggers for me and also I just found it really uninvolving and Gaga was so wooden it was hard to believe she was cast.

88) Futurama (Stormtron)

Probably my favorite animated show of all time. It's just one of those shows where I can rewatch any episode multiple times and never get tired of it. Also...Zapp Brannigan is one of the greatest characters ever.

91-- Gilligan's Island (1964-1967). May not be the greatest show rewatched now, but this was my fave after school TV viewing. Still remember the day it was preempted for 3 Mile Island and how confused I was in going through all 13(!) channels trying to find Gilligan. (oh and I was a MaryAnn type of guy)

Was one of my favorite after school shows too. I must've seen every episode at least half a dozen times each

This is from probably my favorite episode (I've posted this in another thread a while ago too):

92) The Incredible Hulk (JohnnyBlaze)

Far from being the comic characters of Banner and Hulk. However, the Bixby/Lou combo was more than enough to make this an always enjoyable Friday night viewing for me as a kid. Bixby's still easily the best Bruce Banner to date giving the character intelligence, a sense of desperation, and deserved sympathy. And Lou's far better than any modern day CGI Hulk. Lou portrayed brute force and childlike innocence, two qualities the classic Hulk needs but the CGI Hulks have never captured.

The Mosquitos were a ripoff of the Byrds if ever there was such a thing. Regardless I watched Gilligan's Island. I admit it. Would I go out of my way to watch it now? Probably not.

I was a big fan of the hulk tv show too when I was younger. For some reason they never showed reruns of it at least none that I can remember. Maybe on the Sci Fi channel.

93) Syd and Marty Kroft Shows (goose)

These guys ruled children's television in the 70s, producing bizarre, psychedelic era shows like HR Puffinstuff, Liddsville, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, Land of the Lost, and Dr. Shrinker, among others. As a kid I remember anxiously awaiting the preview shows they used to do at the end of the summer to introduce the new Saturday morning line-up.

Charles Nelson Reilly as Horatio J. Hoodoo was genius.
