1990 metal clash: Painkiller or Rust in Peace?

Painkiller is Priest by numbers, Rust is the one unique landmark record of one great metal band.

However RIP is my pick here. Painkiller is great but I never fail to be amazed at what Megadeth did on RIP.

Not much of a Megadeth fan, so even though Priest have many better albums, Painkiller gets my vote.

 

A Touch of Evil is a god tier metal tune.

I can't choose. I lean toward Rust in Peace...but then I just don't know.

 

This may be a good reason to listen to both!

Like so many others have stated, I love Painkiller, but RIP is one of the best records ever made.

 

RIP gets my vote.
