  1. Rush- Clockwork Angels This is seriously climbing up my list of favourites.

  2. Rush- Test For Echo I'm really addicted to this album ATM. This isn't me crying out it's an underrated masterpiece, because it's not. But I love the guitar work on this album! It could and should have been greater than it is, but like all Rush albums, I find enough here to satisfy and amuse me (and I mean amuse...these lyrics are NOT the best 😬)

  3. Rush- Test For Echo This is my least favourite Rush album, and for me there is no contest. However, I genuinely like this album! I had fun with it today. Not perfect, but amongst the great songs are some truly goofy moments that are all the more memorable for it. Wish all my favourite bands worst albums were this entertaining!

  5. Testament The Legacy (9/10) The New Order (10/10) Practice What You Preach (7/10) Souls of Black (6/10) The Ritual (9/10) I love Testament but i honestly think they're later stuff from Damnation on trumps the early years as a whole. aside some from the first 2. i prefer Metallica's first 4 over Testaments. the Ritual rules though. 6. It's also the beginning of his best vocal era. Alex's guitar drove the songs during the prog era, but Geddy's voice, bass, and feet drove the songs during the HYF-Presto-RTB-Counterparts era.

  8. I loved HYF on first listen and still do to this day. The most underrated song is High Water, a great way to end the album. Time Stand Still, Second Nature and Mission are classics to me.

  24. So I finally broke 50 on our regular course this morning with a 48. It felt weird because I did not par a single hole, but I also didn't have any triples either. 6 bogeys and 3 doubles. On every hole where I hit a duffed shot, my next shot was a really decent recovery.

  25. The few YouTube reaction videos that I've seen are hilarious. People turn on Close To The Edge, and their faces are literally contorted into a mass of confusion!

  27. My fav yes record. was always the Yes Album but CTTE is a very close 2nd. Maybe the greatest prog album ever made. Not an inch of wasted album space on it. Mick

  28. Got to see Def Leppard on the Stadium tour like I hoped. What a great show! Also got to see Joan Jett and Poison which was pretty awesome too. I skipped Motley Crue which is fine by me since I didn’t really want to see them anyways. Today I went and saw Iron Maiden for the first time in downtown Austin. What a fantastic show! Hoping to see Roger Waters in October, I was hoping to see the Strokes as well but unfortunately they are not playing locally and the drive is just too far in Texas to justify for one show. And next summer is They Might Be Giants.

  30. The songs on CTTE are timeless Here's a little video of YES at MSG 2005. I was in attendance in the 10th row. I remember getting goosebumps when the crowd wouldn't let the band continue until we finished our standing ovation. 3:00 mins in

  34. He has some absolutely brilliant moments. The Pass is brilliant - his lifting of Oscar Wilde’s passage is beautiful. Vapor Trail is another moving piece. So much of his 80s work is really inspiring. Between the Wheels, Time Stand Still, Red Barchetta. Just evocative and almost illustrated. I think he burned out around Presto - while the Pass is gorgeous, we see an abundance of pablum on that album. It really got bad at Test 4 Echo. Every track was cringe. Even the best song “Totem” seemed like he was singing about his dick.

  35. Also just for the record, green being my favorite color and one I very closely associate with the word “Yes” and the letter “C,” I always thought the very nicely painted gradient as the album cover was beautiful and perfect. Upon discovery of the inner cover, I was even happier.
