In the past 36 years I've seen hundreds of bands and concerts and tonight was the best show I have ever seen. After the band was done I couldn't speak, I was so in awe of the whole experience. Absofuckinlutely amazing.

I'm completely numb right now and really trying to hold back tears... Just the sincerity in Geddy's voice got me... "And I do hope we'll meet again sometime..." I do too, Ged... I do too.

When we're having withdrawals next week, can someone put on one of the concert DVDs and periscope it from your living room? Maybe progressively get drunk or have your wife get drunk and dance ala Bob's Girlfriend. TIA

So close to getting on a plane today... :D If anything is better than sex, it's this concert. If you or anyone else finds a concert by anyone to be better than sex, you're either having bad sex, if there is such a thing, or are just out of your mind. No, the show was really that good. I felt like I was high (even though I was sober) and floating. Once the band was finished I couldn't really speak, I was at a loss for words and was just walking around with the biggest smile on my face. Thinking back on last night it feels like the time went by so quickly, and it seems almost like it was a dream. The most wonderful, amazing dream!

I was on rushisaband.com today and I saw a quote they featured from Eddie Trunk's interview with Alex Lifeson about 3 weeks ago Though I don't hold his word as law, I think a lot of you are feeling too pessimistic about the future. I feel it's best just to admit we don't know what's going to happen. The band doesn't either. Whether they retire or not, I'll be happy I ever got to see them/hear them and I'll be happy if they do anything in the future.

It was awesome spending last night here with all you guys who love Rush as much as I do. It might be the end of an era but we still have 40+ years of great music. We have been so fortunate to live in these times.

Well, I'm off to start the "Will they tour again and when and how much will you hate the set list?" Thread....

What a tour. Holy shit. Thank you Dirk, Lerxst, and Pratt for 40 years worth of the best music. Days like today I wish I was at least 10 years older. If this is indeed it, then this band has left a huge legacy.

I'm keeping this one short. Greatest Rush gig ever for me. I've never seen Neil stand up and take pictures of the crowd Then he bolted to the front of the stage and shocked the hell out of Geddy!! The three of them together stage center was for the Ages. I'm not bragging but my God this was it for me. I'm satisfied until the day I die. This is the greatest f***ing Rush Forum in the world. I honestly don't know how you all tolerate me. Rush fans are the greatest fans in the world. Every Rush fan I meet is fanfuckingtastic. Rush is the greatest fukking band in all the interstellar land. Nothing will ever surpass the sweet serenity of Rush supremacy! Guess I'm not keeping this one short eh???? So let's make a bet. I bet anyone a 12 pack of beer that Rush will one day play three shows in Toronto. I know I know they may play a few cities here and there but my bet is that they are either done forever or will play the last shows in Toronto. Place your bets!!! Roll The Bones bitches!!! Face Up!!! Ass down........

great meeting all of you! and what a night! wrapped up 60 Rush shows starting with AFTK in '77. I got emotional a couple of times (Losing It!) but I spent the majority of the evening with an ear to ear grin just trying to soak it all in. Anything after this is gravy. Oh and Jonathan Dinklage was sitting a few seats down from me during the 2nd set. In the past, I've asked the question here and elsewhere: "Suppose one night Neil came to the front of the stage and spoke to the audience....?" That scenario almost happened!! The lips aren't moving, but he is speaking to the audience. He's very warm and engaging. He's thanking us and showing us his feelings. Tonight, we are not strangers; tonight, we are long awaited friends.

I was just thinking that myself. That's the most kickass version of Working Man that they've ever done. I was rooting for Alex to keep extending the solo so the show wouldnt end. Keep going Lerxst! Keep going!

Bill again thanks so much for scoping through the end so we could watch it unfold live. Neil coming up front....almost too much for me. Been a fan since 1975 but too young for shows back then. First show was 2004 so glad I got to see as many as I did. Road warrior thanks for the awesome picture of the group hug
