  1. Guess what I'm Doing this Thanksgiving? I'm gonna be doing "What You're Doing"
  2. I always wondered who Ray Danniels' accountant was.
  3. I too want to thank Scoper Bill for sharing (what could possibly be Rock History) with us last night! It was awesome!
  4. I was just thinking that myself. That's the most kickass version of Working Man that they've ever done. I was rooting for Alex to keep extending the solo so the show wouldnt end. Keep going Lerxst! Keep going!
  5. I'm picturing the opening scene in the movie "Falling Down", but replacing Michael Douglas's character with Neil. Haha
  6. Alex is packing for Kansas City while whistling and saying "YES! Only 12 more!" Neil is packing for Kansas City while whistling and saying "YES! Only 12 more!" Geddy is packing for Kansas City while brooding and saying "OH NO! Only 12 more!"
  7. Because it's quite possible he uses the Walmart restroom every morning but doesn't purchase a damned thing!
  8. I agree. My buddy and I turned to each other and actually rolled our eyes when it started.
  9. That clip is hysterical. Wish the sound was better. I was at that show and cracked up when he did that. That's why it was a bit surprising to read all of the "Alex is grumpy" posts in the shows that followed. But hey we're all human I guess.
  10. I gotta agree with this. The youtube vid seems to confirm that late drum break attempt after the flub. Neil was lost.
  11. Entre' Nous was performed on the Snakes and Arrows Tour - I definitely enjoyed getting to see that one live! :haz: Right...but a several years back, they were rehearsing it at soundcheck and never did it on that tour...I forget which one but there was a recording someone made, and it was a bonus track on a bootleg. Depending on the exact date of that soundcheck, it's quite possible that they weren't rehearsing it for performance, but rather working it out with the intention of recording it. Back then bands (especially ones who hadn't been around for even 10 years) would routinely write on road and work on the songs during soundchecks. That's the only way they could do at least one new album and tour per year. Isn't there similar early soundcheck footage of TSOR form sometime on the Hemispheres tour? Had to do a little searching but it's on "Check this Out" http://www.digitalrushexperience.com/database/review.php?RecordingID=1010 Hmmm....so that was during the short run post-Hemispheres tour but pre-PeW release. So much for my theory!! Here's video of an early soundcheck version of TSOR from my hometown of Hamilton on August 24, 1979 during the Permanent Waves warm up tour. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtaWGojQb8I Is Geddy manning the Hamilton Stadium switchboard back there?! Wow. Haha
  12. Lincoln was "Home of the Real Red Sea"
  13. Looks like the spotlight above Geddy was out of control for a few seconds. Kinda scary.
  14. I think it is. Oh it is? I haven't compared it to the album version yet. He really seems to be straining on this one. But 2 hours in thats understandable.
