I guess we are lucky, we are at 15 degrees! Our town has a nice First Night celebration, but with 5 degrees and wind predicted I think we are staying home.

7 degrees here in Buffalo, NY. Wind chill will get 10-25 below zero tonight. They are seriously advising people going out tonight to bundle up good and not be outside long since it will be dangerously cold. We haven't been above freezing in over a week and this is supposed to continue for the next week or so. We will get a bit of a heatwave when it hits 20 degrees later in the week lol.

-2 right now, going down to -11 tonight.

As my town of La Crosse, WI is fairly well-known for drunken college-age people getting massively drunk and dying via drowning and exposure, I dread tonight. Kids are gonna be downtown, getting hammered, and they're gonna walk outside at bar time, when it's -10 or so.

The husband has said things about moving to NH or ME and I say to him, have you lost your mind? (No offense to anyone there, BTW.). Waaaytoocold.

27 below this am, weather page says 41 below tonight.

I felt bad for the deer in our yard.

It's still minus 30 Celsius not including wind. The cold is finally supposed to ease up after more than a week of frigid temperatures. I hope temps return to normal averages.

1984: When I moved from Kentucky to Wisconsin in the month of May, everything was peachy.

Seven months later, I was saying to myself, My GOD! What have I done?!! :o :o

It is still sub-freezing temperatures here, I think we hit a week high of like 26 degrees...I just received an alert that says a 'Bomb Cyclone' Winter Storm to hit NYC/NJ area. Predictions of 6 to 12 inches of snow mixed temperatures as low as 11 degrees and wind gusts of up to 50 mph. Doesn't that just sound like fun?

Snow! We had a power outage for about an hour, and after a house search, we have about 18 flashlights. About 6" snow so far. As I age I like the snow less and less. Nice to look at. Did anyone see the rainbow yesterday?

22 degrees right now but having terrible wind and a bit of snow. It has been going down to -2 each night, causing trouble! The pipes on the second floor of husband's work froze last night and broke and flooded everything. . . .
