My guess was 2018 my second choice would be 2019. The tour Neil needed arm twisting for recently ended, I doubt anything at this point has been written. My guess is late in 2017 they'll start work on an album after Neil gets plenty of rest, it's not ready till 2018. No tour...maybe 5 days at the Hollywood Bowl.

I think there will be a final album in 2018. No tour of any kind as Rush. I honestly don't think we will ever even see Alex and Geddy on the same stage again, let alone with Neil.

Yeah, I highly doubt it'll happen either but then again I also thought...

 

(1) Test For Echo was the final studio album once Geddy's solo album was released

 

(2) an R40 tour wouldn't happen (it was discussed on TRF back in '07 or '08)

 

(3) Rush would never have an orchestra onstage with them (it also was discussed on TRF prior to it actually happening)

 

(4) Rush would never get into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
