I prefer the Roth era to the Hagar era, although I enjoy them both a lot. But Dave is pretty much done. Sammy isn't. When things got tough in VH he tried to join KISS. Clearly he was more burdened by leadership than concerned with writing good material. If MA was of so little value why didn't he replace him in '85 along with Roth? Wolfgang isn't really an upgrade.
