Don'tMeetInBars
QUOTE (bscsmkr @ Sep 8 2012, 01:35 PM) Here's a pretty good video of "Clockwork Angels" What a tremendous song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8nOjru9w0o Yes! It was brilliant how they approached the 'bluesy mix' section live. Neil's set spins around, the megaphone effect on the vocals. Really cool. delrancho223
Found the last two songs together, and if it that's not enough to say may i might add that SOTR sounds better than it did last tour.
Unobtrusive Companion
QUOTE (Shreddy Lee @ Sep 8 2012, 11:39 PM) Just heard Geddy say before Working Man "this one you might recognize" I guess some of the crowd must have been a little confused with the first set. I think it's just something to say to be honest, he said it before Grand Designs as well
tripinva
Shreddy Lee, First of all, awesome name. Second, figured I would update your list, which is probably now past the 12-hour or so editing limit anyway, and rearrange them in order of set list and include some info about which video and the maximum available quality of each. Alchemical
QUOTE (fansince1979 @ Sep 8 2012, 03:37 AM) Not video, but high quality audio - http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=419552 Rush Verizon Wireless Arena - Manchester, NH 2012-09-07 (Friday, September 7, 2012) Opening night of the Clockwork Angels tour Hobbes source: AT933 hypercardioid (3-wire) > CA-9100 > Edirol R-09 (24/44.1) Section 108 row K Sound was ok. Bit muddy. Seemed to improve after the first few songs. Much clearer on the recording - could barely decipher Geddy at the show. Sat next to super fanboy, the world's loudest clapper. . . mostly between songs. . . and a guy on the other side that really loved the new album. . . The recording also suffers from an intermittent buzz/hum during the first couple of songs. Think it's limited to the spots noted. Not sure what happened. Sorry. . . Some deep cuts, most of the new album, the big hits. A little for everyone. . . Setlist courtesy of Rush is a Band blog, I'm too tired. . . Converted to 16 bit and fades added with Audacity, cut with cdwave, rest with TLH. Just noticed after I started uploading that I screwed up the trackmarking starting at Headlong Flight. I missed the split for Halo Effect so those two are in one track. Then I had a stray track mark between Spirit and the outro video. Sorry again. . . too freakin' late to be doing this :-) Set 1 01. Opening video 02. Subdivisions (buzz throughout first 1:15) 03. The Big Money (slight buzz 0:40 to 1:00) 04. Force 10 (slight buzz at 0:37) 05. Grand Designs 06. The Body Electric 07. Territories 08. eshine
Yeah - wow, just listen to Ged he is killing it. Like I said - this is a very smart setlist. These guys are professionals. They knew Ged had pushed his voice to the limit on the Time Machine Tour and have designed a set that compliments his voice. Awesome - cannot wait to hear the next show

I've got a few more, but man they take a long time to upload! http://youtu.be/tmB8G3dyKIE That drum solo is freakin' cool. Had a techno dance vibe going on. He really is a versatile player! That was the best use of his electronic set in a solo, in my opinion.
blueskiesecho
Loving the uploads from the 1st gig as well as Rush I love a lot of electronic music, Aphex Twin, DJ Shadow, Burial etc and by the sounds of Neils electronic drum solo so does he This band just get cooler as they age I remember whilst doing my sound engineering course at Uni a few years back there was a couple of guys that would do some amazing stuff with Rush samples for fun that sounded fookin awesome, Im surprised Rush haven't been sampled more, especially Neil.. I love the fact the guys are influenced by and listen to loads of styles outside rock....To me it's a big reason for their longevity and uniqueness...Rush have always been more than just a standard rock/metal band..To me anyway...Fkn love this band I think Ill need to make sure I have tissues ready for Middletown Dreams getting uploaded , really thought Id never see that played live
