  2. I really didn't care much for the 80's stuff after Grace Under Pressure, but yes after the live renditions I've gone back & now I like them. The sonics are pretty dated but I really appreciate the songwriting, there are some great tunes. It's cool to hear those songs with how Rush sounds NOW.

I was referring to the actual bass pedal sounds, which are different. Usually long sustaining notes, and working with the bass instead of replacing it. Kudos to the mix engineer for keeping it distinct.

It's an interesting sound, the tuning is very common for slide.
